Let's try this from another angle. Do you think posting $30 billion dollar deficits year after year like Trudeau had done in the last two to be sustainable? And second, do you actually trust him to eventually balance the budget before his first term is over as he promised? Do keep in mind he has lied to us about the amount of deficit he would run in both federal budgets so far.

There was nothing there to discuss, just you stating your opinion, and we had already established that we don't agree. Why would I even need to go further than that? (Rhetorical question).

For the record, I have no strong opinions about what Trudeau is doing. It might work. It might not. Time will tell.

My interest in this thread, such as it was, has already waned. The premise was the proposition that "Canada is being taxed out of existence." It was rubbish, I've shown my evidence for calling it rubbish, and that's pretty much it. Find a strongly pro-Trudeau opponent and argue with them, because you'll get no joy from me on that score.

I admit I take more cash jobs that I don't declare now to offset the extra taxes. It is hurting small businesses like mine and I can't blame someone who is creative with their taxes.

Canada is the #1 producer of oil for the US. Small population with a good work force, so socialism works to a point. BTW you don't see a lot of Americans migrating to Canada...I wonder why?
