No church or throne needed. He is no messiah. He is no king. He is a businessman who is in a new world and to be honest he is learning on the job and things seems to be coming around finally.

1. He is not getting impeached
2. Russia who?
3. He is showing he does not need his party now. That will piss them off and those who back Trump will make sure not to vote for those folks. It will not sway to the DNC but expect to see a lot of new faces.
4. Tax Reform and ACA replacements.
5. Again, he is acting like a businessman and not a politician and the politicians do not know how to act but they are falling in line.

Lets just get SH*T done for a change, is that too much to ask? I don't care who get credit for it, just get the really important things done in a way that both sides can live with.

Hell, you can even still keep whining on about how much you hate Trump even. He really doesn't care, people have been doing it to him his whole professional life. He pretty much thrives on it.

It was an odd flip-flop, indeed, and I wondered who he was trying to influence.

My own (unkind) opinion is that he was trying to cheaply send the message of "compassion" (as he did just a few days ago, implying that he was also involved in Obama-Bush-Carter's charitable support of hurricane victims) -- OR -- he thought that Irma was going to heavily damage some of his properties and if he had a hurricane relief bill out there, it would be easier for him and his property managers to collect for damages at... say.... Mar-a-Lago.
