Yet I am unconvinced of that myself...
The biggest supporters of evolution use it as a tool to attempt to disprove creation...
Then say creation has nothing to do with evolution...
All things that exist are created...
This is undeniable...
They are after all brought into existence...
So without creation there is no existence let alone evolution...
Thus any and all evolution is allowed by creation...
Therefore they are not truly so separate factually they are undeniably linked...
Therein lies the truth to this whole mess...

It's always so convenient to ignore the differences in order (not count that as different in similarity percentages), some people even take it one step further in their claims (almost as if some people think that their ignoring it makes that reality/fact go away and they are justified in making claims to the contrary, that there is no difference in the order):

The problem is...
Creation and evolution are portrayed as polar opposites...
This is wrong.... Because it is wrong...
This dichotomy is intellectual dishonesty...
And it results in the same dishonesty being portrayed as "truths" without full understanding...
It's hindering real progress intellectually spiritually morally...

It's done here often enough...
If you believe hybridization is evolution I can agree with that much whole heartedly...
If you believe all life sprang forth from a random chemical reaction in the primordial ooze I am unconvinced...
Genetically speaking there is not enough time in the entirety of the life span of the universe to over come those odds...
The fact it would have had to happen more than once only makes me more suspect....
