Illegal entry into The United States is a Federal Crime. That's why ICE is a Federal Agency.

There's no such thing as illegal entry into a state, because we are United States, and have the right to travel freely within them.

I never said that states don't have laws that address illegal immigration. But illegal entry is a federal crime. Presidents can, and have, pardoned undocumented immigrants.

It's not a pardon. It's deferring on their date of deportation, giving them a chance to apply for US citizenship before that date.

You have to understand that no one can apply for citizenship if they have a criminal record. Their criminal charges were pardoned, so that they could pursue a path to citizenship.

You have to be in the US (with a green card) for 5 years before even applying for citizenship.

Absolutely it will. It'll diminish the Democrat voter base for one. For the other, it'll send a clear sign that being illegal is exactly that, illegal.

I don't understand why people have a problem with this. Obama enacted DACA on his own, after having his amnesty bills shot down. Trump is doing the right thing and reversing it.
