The LEFT hates tax cuts for the Rich but wants everything Free. Free Healthcare, Free Education etc.,
The LEFT Loves Free Speech and Expression and yell dictatorship if there Press Pases get revoked or TV appearences shutdown unless its them Wiretapping Reporters who they disagree with.
The Left calls the KKK, Nazis, and Neo Nazis the far right yet have forgotten these groups were founded by them.
The Left says the Right doesn't believe in Global Warming and yet approves a deal that doesn't punish the worlds biggest polluters.
The Left calls America's Elections Sacred but at the same time are trying to overthrow the Duly Elected President with Impeachment
The Left calls Trump a Bully for calling out people in the Media but had no problem with Obama calling out Hannity, Limbaugh etc.,
The LEFT hates War and calls the Right Warmongers even though they started multiple Civil Wars in various Muslim Majority Nations behind the scenes.
The Left brags about killing Osama Bin Laden but cant say Radical Islamic Terror.
The Left says saying Radical Islamic Terror is just a Political Talking Point but at the same time spouts White Supremacy every time some minor incident happens.
How can the Left support the LGBTQ community but at the same time support Communism,Marxism, Socialism etc., those people are usually the 1st to be killed in those societies.

Those are just old, tired Right Wing talking points about the so-called "left". Talk to actual members of "the left". And you'll quickly understand what they believe and why.

You still might not agree. And you may see some hypocrisies. But it will make much more sense to you than these silly right wing talking points that you're promulgating.

In short, step out of your bubble for five minutes. And learn something.

One interesting thing you'll find is almost all right wing ideas are lifted from older left wing ideas. That will screw with your melon.

That's the explanation the original poster needs. The left consists of dozens of different special interest groups who feel their issue is the most important. Each will think that there need is so important that it justifies a 2 cent per dollar increase in taxes. They'll form alliances in that they all put aside their differences in order to get into power and then each can get what they want.

Some groups are like BLM or La Raza. Others are Antifa. There are social justice warriors, those on medicare and don't have much earnings.

Ultimately all those increases in taxes lead to tax flight - whether it's CEO's and other executives leaving California or customers cancelling their telephone landlines and cable subscriptions.

My "neighborhood" happens to be a stretch of highway passing through extensive farmlands to Yellowstone. Who is really going to be riding bikes in -38 degrees in the dead of winter??? You can die in those conditions. Even in a car you better be prepared.

Bikes.  What does that have to do with it?  I like to ride my bike and so do you.  So what?  Bicycle advocacy groups are very powerful now.  Advocacy.  A fancy word for lobbying, influencing, and maybe strong-arming the public and politicians.  What's the conection with bike groups?  National groups such as Complete Streets, Thunderhead Alliance, and others, have training programs teaching their members how to pressure for redevelopment, and training candidates for office.  It's not just about bike lanes, it's about remaking cities and rural areas to the 'sustainable model'.  High density urban development without parking for cars is the goal. This means that whole towns need to be demolished and rebuilt in image of sustainable development.  Bike groups are being used as the 'shock troops' for this plan.

My ideologies definitely point left yet I cannot identify with any of the scenarios that cause Xianb confusion. I hardly know what to say; but his post illustrates how difficult it is to label a person, whether left or right or ambivalent or whatever. People are far too complex for that. That being said, it is probably fair to state that Americans should strive for moderation and avoid leaning too far left or right. Extremism generally leads to bad results.

Nancy Pelosi is Catholic and is pro choice. Joe Biden also Catholic and promotes abortion. There plenty Christians in the Democrat Party. Bidens minister told him he should forego taking communion while he actively supports abortion. Not all Republican women are Christian and some are pro choice... you know like Nancy Reagan and Laura Bush.
