Yes, I believe in ending DACA but giving those children brought here many years ago some compassion since this is the only home they know. The children did not act illegally. They had no choice. To rip them out of their only known environment and send them back to start over shows lack of compassion for those who did nothing wrong.

You did not address the fact there maybe siblings or children of these people who are legal citizens. What do you do with them.

Last year where I live there was 800 plus young people coming over housed in one camp in Texas. There was a female reporter at the station and one on location. They tripped all over each other trying to call them children more than the other...or so it seemed. Turned out that of the 800 plus at this facility, only 55 were female. This needs to end.

Long time people here not by their choice need some compassion and a one time path to citizenship.

Not everyone is full of hate for people who love this country whether citizen or not.

Trump just threw the GOP in 18 under the bus. That is if they back this BS; I don't think they will.

Trump has lost support of his own party....

You say "young woman" and she works. So she's old enough to become a naturalized citizen? Doing so would remove her fears of being deported.

Maybe you could be an awesome friend and forward her the information to do so. You can find it, here.

Trump so far has been a negative and destructive force.

He tried to destroy Obamacare, taking insurance away from millions.

Now he will put 100’s of thousands of decent hardworking virtual US citizens in a horrible limbo of uncertainty.

What is he doing this for, just to destroy the decent things Obama started?

He should take what Obama did and IMPROVE it not abolish it

Trump is just a destructive force for people and not a positive president who helps people

Who has he helped so far, or even tried to help?

Shouldn't go after the children. It's a failure of the system illegals get their kids over the borders but once here, can't target them.

I'll wait and see what Trump does with this. Might tweak it, might replace it. We'll see. But in no way do I support targeting kids simply because government failed to keep illegal parents out in the first place.

Do you even read your own posts?

How are you putting the blame on our government and not on those who broke the law?

Every other country has single payer. Only America uses insurance. Too backwater. Cannot modernize.

If the siblings are children, isn't it up to the Dreamers what happens to them?

President Trump should allow all the 780,000 kids and their families who are here now, to stay. But no more.

America is "too backwater". HA!

I guess when you're the most powerful nation to ever exist you tend to stick to your own values that got you there.

America is the only country that uses fahrenheit instead of celsius. America refuses to modernize.

Of course. The citizens would go back with their parent/s in all likelihood. I still insist there should be an element of compassion.

America is the only country where illegals are rampant. America took over Arizona, New Mexico, California, Nevada, Texas, Florida from Latinos. Latinos try to take them back. About time America takes a stronger stance against illegals.

I agree. But the law must be upheld hereafter. We should never have to debate this again.

That said. I believe the new conditions for immigration are too strenuous.

It's a foolish argument brought forth by a foolish administration. It is clear what the right thing to do is.
We made a promise, and we should keep it. It's not like we have no place for them. They are already "in place".
Let's leave them alone and get on with our lives.

Then the world responded, "F you too then. Why should any of us care about you when you clearly don't care about anyone else??"

On and on it went like this for many years into the future with nobody able to see the irony of the situation. Then finally the day came when everyone killed everyone else in a last fit of misguided and selfish rage.

The End.

Now, shut up and go to bed you rotten children.........

They're just laws, in this day and age, who cares? The law should only apply to people who agree with the law, if you don't agree, then it shouldn't apply to you. These people broke the law, who cares, let's reward them, it feels good. Any of you would-be immigrants doing it the lawful way, don't bother, just support democrats, then you will be given everything.

America should take a page from Canada and Australia. Adopt a point based immigration system. Canada and Australia, most immigrants are white people.
