How many are showing up? I want to make sure to have enough mummification material.

(Interestingly enough, it looks like a number of women are going. In the past, if I remember right, it was mostly men.)

I can only speak for the one that happened in NYC, and yes it was mostly men.

8 of us showed up in total (I think?), 6 male, 2 female. There were some no-shows(two or three if I recall correctly) who said they were coming but didn't show up- they were also male. But maybe they did show up and we just didn't find one another cause that seemed like a problem. But they sorta disappeared from the thread too and the site, I'm not sure if I've seen them around since then actually... ANYWAY.

I promise not to bite anyone unless they give me permission first (still sorry about that). And also I don't plan on getting sloppy drunk or anything near. I'm really nothing to be afraid of! I'm a fairly small body, a bit chubby now actually lol, and I'm naturally quiet and super non-confrontational.

I also plan to bring tiny art prints of mine that fit into your pockets too. I give out free art!

Well I hope that for those comfortable with posting photos do so for those of us living vicariously through your trips. It doesn't have to be pictures of attendees (victims)! I understand some folks hesitation (paranoia) about posting their selfies on line.

I take my job very seriously (keep us out of jail task) and therefore should NOT be the one running around naked downtown, lest I get apprehended myself.

I'd have loved to come to any meet up (ain't skeered!) but so busy. That's a lame excuse as everyone is busy but it's all I got LOL
I've seen the lovely photos from the NY meet and there was one in Scotland (I think) of some Shed folk.
Some beautiful folks on ATS, inside and out!

TBH I'm scared af.

I always am when it comes to meeting new people in strange new places, it's scary as sh-t. So that's probably why I always say I'm not a scary person. I'm just projecting my own fears! But also it's the kind of interesting scary that is fun and exciting and I know if I go through it with then it'll be an empowering experience, as long as nothing terrible happens, lol.

And I always do imagine the worst scenario's possible.

Outside of being kidnapped and murdered, the worst thing that could happen is rejection. So I always tell myself if everyone rejects me and makes me feel really uncomfortable then I'll just walk away and explore the day by myself. I can enjoy my own company in strange new places. Or I can stay with the group and drink... more than five drinks, and suddenly make everybody else uncomfortable with my butt biting and humping of strangers faces.

And that's how I talk myself through basically everything. LOL.

As hostess, I'm most worried about everyone having a good time.
That, and keeping Augustus out of jail.
So please let me know if there's anything I can do to help make your trip fab!
