MS-13 gang members no longer welcome

Looks like President Trump has changed some the Obama "standards" that allow certain groups of people in "known" MS-13 Gang countries.

Apparently a program exists (existed) that let some get "refugee" status or something like that, and come to the U.S.

No more I guess.

Some opinions say the whole thing was a recruiting program.

MS-13 controls much illegal activities in the U.S.

President Trump has some sad news for MS-13.

The United States no longer will allow the gang to bring in recruits from Central America.

Víctor Manuel Ramos of Newsday reported:

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday [August 16] announced immediate termination of the Central American Minors Parole Program, saying the agency will “no longer provide special consideration of parole for certain individuals denied refugee status in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras” through a petitioning process established in late 2014 under President Barack Obama.

CAMPP is closed for the summer.

I must say, I agree!
Also, on a semi-related note, i have no problem with police receiving military gear as long as they are mostly for defensive and non-lethal equipment.

Lots of armored vehicles and body armor comes through these grants. These things are not what worries me. Technically not even the scaremongering description of grenade launchers by the press. The launchers described are designed to fire any type of shell that fits. Clearly in a police setting, that would mean tear gas and not high explosives.

I hope Trump cracks down on the urban militants that have hijacked some of this countries most historic neighborhoods in the larger older cities and removes these threats to American sovereignty and return liberty to the law abiding citizens held hostage in their own homes by these ruthless transnational drug gangs.

The "good" trump does is far over shadowed by the lies and deception. Also his completely ridiculous twitter rants show that he is not stable. Rants at 4 am on twitter, from everything from Sat Night Live, wire tapings, TV ratings, and attacking people, speak for themselves. So do his completely hypocritical behaviors.

This is a no brainer, but lets not pretend everything he has done is MAGA.

You just have to take the bad with the good. The man is a narcissistic ass, but some of his ideas are good. And even sensible. And some are better than the last guys.
And the bad stuff, can be highly entertaining.....

Well, remember he said that his tweets are "official white house statements" So, what you don't read twitter, but don't see his tweets posted on the news? I don't follow anyone on twitter period, but I still know what trump tweets. In fact you have a computer why don't you simply look them up on twitter. You don't need an account. Go through his tweets and tell me that is normal!

Look, the Russia thing is completely shady. Muller, is not giving up and trump knows it. Why do you think for 4 months trump told us that there was no Russia story, and look at what has come up about Russia. At one point in time he discussed joint cyber security, with who, Russia. Even knowing damn well they hacked us. It has been PROVEN Russia hacked us, and the POTUS, wont even address it. He just says "maybe they did maybe they didn't" Well, yeah they did hence the SANCTIONS that have been placed because of the hacking.

Look man, trump can do allot good, but you need to educate yourself on what who you are supporting. Everything he has done, does not compare to obstruction of justice, abuse of power, treason, Have a look at Comey, and his testimony, trump will do anything to try and save face. I would not trust his testimony under oath for anything!

Almost everything that is out there , is because the media was going to expose it. Just like trump JR and Russia letter. Yeah, and trump and his fake news,BS. That is why he hates the media, he knows he will be called out. trump has never had to answer to anyone, until he became POTUS. Now he needs to answer to EVERYONE.

Hey, if some people want to actually believe DJT is the only one that is posting from his twitter thats on them. The tactic has been changing every cycle since Bush 9/11 remix.

This is not the nineties with those lovely music traditional music in the background or those deep toned accusations with the same voice actors on either side. Communication has evolved globally, and so have the personality profiles of the netizens who volunteer everything about themselves to the beast, all of us here included.

Its real time, its done with a succession of images not unlike the propaganda posters of the early 20th century. Now we have videos that can deliver a favorable or targeted message/belief/ideology to even the most ignorant. Those who are in traditionally lower funded districts in rural areas with not necessarily the best curriculum standards now are being taught how their system truly works, and they have a voice too!

yea sometimes that requires a bit of playful harmless embellishment of certain claims or actions. Like having people actually believe that DJT an only DJT is making conveniently timed tweets at unrealistic times of day on a limited sleep schedule. Global Engagement Center anybody? NDAA 2017?? These were tools placed in by a predecessor, but they sure are working to the advantage to the next in line? Is that not exactly how it is supposed to go??

It just gets more heated now everytime their is a party switch. The tactics are becoming too volatile. Maybe we do need some tanks in the streets, just temporary you know ... like 18-50 months or so ?? Tanks are pretty!

It is really sad that two people can witness the same events and walk away with completely opposite versions of the "truth". I'm not a Trump cheerleader and did not vote for him.

However, I watched the Comey hearings and saw NOTHING worth noting in what he said. HOwever, his BEHAVIOR over the Clinton matter is quite alarming, IMO.

Also, if there is "proof" of Russia hacking, PLEASE PROVIDE IT for us all. I have yet to see that proof.

Also, if there was any collusion between Trump and Putin, please provide the proof to us as well.

I am aware. The issue of shady or not draws attention to the manner in which political warfare is waged via propaganda.

The only REAL change was when those guys shot up the cops in Cali ,now they mostly carry rifles in their trunk.
They don't have explosive ordinances , mounted machine guns or cannon.
What I cant figure out is what no one sells a good amphibious truck?
The gangs need to be scrutinized and acted on AT ONCE , not just WATCHED because they want a bigger case, ala POLICE strategies the criminals have figured out and USE or because "judge so and so" is an activist.
Perhaps a lethal contact rule if sighted armed?
