Except a lot switched parties and became republicans so...

No.

They never SWITCHED.

How can you so blatantly post absolutely false very fake news like this?

Are you trolling?
Sometimes I wonder if you are.

Because no one is that ignorant!

You know, when people like Strom Thurmond switched parties in 1964 to join the Republicans because he was against racial integration.

But...wait...we just learned that "they" never switched parties. So how could Thurmond have switched parties?

The Klanbake, a famous KKK skirmish with NY police, also the one that Trumps father attended & was arrested but not charged for.

Newspaper clips obtained by VICE suggest the Republican frontrunner's father may have worn the robe and hood of a Klansman in 1927.

These people haven't even read the States' articles of secession which literally lay out their reasons for seceding. In their own words, some of the States flat out said it was over the slavery of Negroes/black race, etc. Yet people here have tried to argue that it wasn't over slavery. I don't even think they've read the Constitution of the Confederacy either because it has 10 clauses that guarantee and regulate the slave trade & slave ownership in the confederacy. But they will still pretend that it had nothing to do with slavery.

No they didn't.

The American hypenated isms.

The LEFT.

Incessantly running around judging people by the color of their skin (white supremacists) instead of the content of the Character.

The LEFT.

Identity politics.

There is no better weapon of mass destruction than running around calling people racists.

They've been doing it for the last almost nine years.

Identity politics.

There is no bigger example of identity politics than white nationalism and the "white genocide" mantra.

The RIGHT, in case you were unaware.

I don't know who you're trying to kid either. Had you been a voter in the South prior to the 60's? You'd have voted Democrat up and down, every single election except for the brief period where the Dixiecrats were a party and you'd have voted for them instead.

Nothing like a bunch of people who would have been George Wallace fanboys doing the "but but but muh Klanbake!" bull#. I don't know if you're actually fooling yourselves or not but you're not fooling anyone else.

Good call.

And that "white nationalist" really just means "white person that's patriotic" and is a freshly invented term. That's another one we forgot for a moment.

What's false about it ?

Gun control created to keep 'blacks' disarmed.

And we ALL know who still pushes it.

I think what you're not getting is that the "threat" isn't necessarily a physical one with white supremacists. It's their ideology and the effect that has on those vulnerable to it. It perpetuates hate and a notion that others are less-than, which fosters a negative treatment of those others, whether that's manifested in discrimination, outright racism, or, at worst, violence. What you fail to realize is that Trump, through his ignorant rhetoric throughout his campaign and continuing through his presidency, has emboldened these groups, and that presents a *real threat* to the young and/or impressionable. Any surge in these groups needs to be taken seriously and needs to be addressed before their viral hate can take hold.

You mean since 2008 when America elected a half-black dude with a funny name and you all lost your #, formed the Tea Party with your Koch money and started embarrassing yourselves in public at your weekly rallies and protests?

Oh look, here's a sign calling for the impeachment of Obama:

Let me give it the typical wingnut treatment of 2017:

OMG! OMG! OMG! YOU WERE SO BUTTHURT ABOUT LOSING THAT YOU TRIED TO OVERTHROW THE PRESIDENT! TRAITORS! GET OVER IT LOSERS! YOU LOST! STOPPING HAVING TANTRUMS!

I personally created both the terms "white nationalist" and "alt-right" so that I could use them to spread the false idea that people who want an exclusively white ethno-state are racists.
