Paulie Malignaggi was a spy for Mayweather.

***Language Warning*** - some cursing.

If true (and it sure seems like it is), this means that Mayweather is going to know McGregor's entire game plan.

Not that it was a huge secret.

McGregor's plan has always been to try and stop the fight in the early rounds via a KO strike.

But this "inside" information might contain other gems: strengths, weaknesses, specific tactics etc.

During the entire build up, Conor has been trying to "get inside Floyd's head".

IMHO, this has to have some kind of affect on McGregor.

Why would an undefeated boxer with the best record in history ever need spies when against a guy who never boxed before?

Reputation and millions on the line, people do weird things.

Why would the DNC rig the game against Bernie to put up the guaranteed win for Hillary and still get the debate questions for her? Hahahaha

I would imagine that its always helpful to know your opponent's strategy, strengths, weaknesses, game plan etc.

I doubt it matters honestly. McGregor's only hope is to catch him with one. Floyd toys with professional boxers, and Nate Diaz out boxed McGregor in their first match. Floyd's just too smooth, fast, and precise for him imo.

Tonight we will see what happens when one of the worlds best professional boxers fights someone who is not.
This fight lasts as long as mayweather wants it to last.

It's just cheap head games and a desperate attempt to try to set up his own fight with Conor that nobody would really care about. Malignaggi might be a decent boxer and student of the game but he can't pull off the Philly shell to anywhere near the extent Floyd can so he would have seen nothing of Conor's gameplan over those 12 rounds. He was brought into the mcgregor camp to be a heavy bag that yelps and nothing more.

He's also just destroyed any chance he ever has of being drafted in as a sparring partner for a championship fight again through his lack of professionalism.

Malignaggi would last 2 seconds in a cage with McGregor. Easy to run your mouth behind cameras after you've been dropped in the ring. With that being said...McGregor has a very uphill battle tonight. Mayweather is a beast and it's going to take a lot more than talk to beat him. Should be entertaining regardless.

Let's go Irish!

He didnt even last boxing McGregor. Think a lot of people are going to be shocked when McGregor pulls out a win tonight. Thats not a cut on Floyd, but Floyd really doesnt get whats coming his way.

My prediction : an 8th round knockout / tko knockdown for McGregor.

We shall see though. Never know in big fights.
