the add at the top keeps taking over the site, please make it stop

the latest add is super annoying. Each time I go to the live tab, it plays out and doesn't let any tabs work until it offers you an X to close it.
I'd hate to put the add blocker back on and face the other issues associated with that, but it may come to that. I'd prefer it didn't.

no chance, it´s always you and not ATS. It can´t because there´s always someone who won´t get it and then it´s suddenly a local problem.

I´m not the only one having massive problems logging in via mobile because of ads taking up the whole screen and can´t be closed. On a brandnew reset smartphone but it´s always some mysterios error on your side, of course.

This website is buggy as hell and I´m stating that since years but skeptic overlord can´t find the time or won´t take it to fix. Most stuff is a cakewalk and I already provided bugfixes, two or three years ago.

Yet, the same bugs keep coming up again and again.

Been happening for months, I took screen shots and shared them with ATS management. Was told to use "dolphin" browser. That was no help.

Not being on ATS often is the only answer I've found.

Can you get a screen-shot with the ad and post it on that Worst Ads Ever thread intrepid linked to?

Ads are targeted according to the information they can gather (that's why I sometimes get ads in Portuguese), so it's even possible that you are the only person on ATS seeing that specific ad. Without knowing what you're seeing SO can't do a thing.

Oh I got so many acknowledgements from him but never anything happened. Of course it´s (partly) his website so he can do what he feels is the right thing to do, even if this means, doing nothing.

Dont have such a problem. Not there for me. So it isnt ATS. Try sizing, resizing and/or zooming in or out...and try Desktop Mode on Mobile. Have no auto-play adds either...and dont do any blocking of any ads. Just dont interfere with me on any devices.

Check your setting for other sites...that also affect ATS. Its not us. Good luck!

Agreed... For some odd an unattended and un-intended setting or reasoning... I never get these things...

Watch though... One day I'll have only a full page top to bottom of ads and no ATS!!!
