That was/is my initial thought as well. The tinfoil can be properly applied to discuss this topic!

While giving someone who has no control over their extremities a path to heal, that same tech can literally control another to do their bidding.

Science is always a double edge sword, I don't think humanity is ready however.

They didn't just arrive to this tech. There had to be a build up obviously.

It's always curious to me when new technology is unveiled. The plebes are the last to obtain any of it, let alone the full encompassing details.

I've been studying the MK phenomenon ever since I was diagnosed schizoaffective and began experiencing strange phenomenon shortly after receiving disability. It was an absolute nightmare and I'm doing a lot better, but sometimes it still kicks in with correlative external visual confirmation (strange vehicles)....hopefully admitting this online again won't resurface a backlash but I'm willing to risk it.

Electromagnetic interference and pinpoint accurate targeting were some of the experiences I've had, and when certain centers of the brain are hit, it can lay you out flat in agonizing pain.

I've had MRI's and brain-scans, and nothing unusual is present, but never when the symptoms were at their peak influence.

It's frightening if such tech was weaponized, from a law abiding perspective, but as a deterrant for criminal behavior or punishment or wartime applications....you know that's probably been in use for quite some time.

Therapy seems to come last for some reason, but I'm hopeful they use this technology for the Greater Good.

Minor, I've never noticed anything sinister from the phones themselves.

The towers on the other hand, (there is one a block away and visible from my apartment) are another story entirely.

I've felt emanation from vehicles....a car or van with an emitter could be remotely activated to target and send a pulse or field emenation to a sensitive target subject. Maybe schizophrenics were used in field testing because no one would believe them and write it off as hallucinations or delusions because somewhere within the brain structure of those persons there is an anomaly that makes them especially sensitive to such influences.

It's kind of like those electronic frequencies they emit to keep rodents away, certain pitches are intolerable to those mammals, and as they say, mice and humans share many similar characteristics when it comes down to the fundamentals of biology.

It was posted earlier today but the "Left vs Right" thing heated up and all other threads slid past.

Basically heat up neurons to make them fire. Meh. It requires a "procedure" so not true EOTW stuff.

If they get nanobots to position themselves then that would be something to be scared of!! It would probably be something like this: external mag (or radio) signal to position the bots. They latch on, then wait for an "execute" signal (external again). That would be scary!

Add in some AI and you are nearly at the "gray goo" stage.
