Interesting that you view welfare as paying reparations to the black community. It applies to everyone and welfare is limited anyway. But you're right it doesn't help the black community in ghettos move up in the world.

Welfare has done nothing to help the black community move up in the world. It has let them survive.

I had a lady of color working for me, 10 bucks an hour, and she did a great job. 30 days in, I was going to give her a 2 dollar an hour raise, she said you can't do that, they will take my childcare. Congress needs to fix this mess, if they had taken her childcare, I as an employer couldn't cover that 400 bucks a week. Somewhere along the line, common sense needs to kick in.

There are some folks in this thread, that honestly try to think about ways to heal the country, I salute you brothers and sisters. We need to fix this crap.

Most of us, minus the two that have been uninvited, have to come to the conclusion that this system is f'd up.

They've been cracking down outside of it and for good reason.

It is becoming clear only right wing speech is allowed on here, bonus points if it is white supremicts.

I called someone a dick in one, outside of that thought that we had a reasonable conversation going on. Some asshat decided to shut it down, I really don't care if I belong or here or not, something you should think about.
