Those don't show the evil that white men committed against slaves. Let's not erase that part of history.

SOME whitemen.....SOME.

ive been personally exploring the value of old "truisms" that were common knowledge among past generations but are not being taught to the upcoming ones. Kids these days have never heard expressions like " a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush" or "friends of a feather flock together", "a penny saved is a penny earned", "a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still" and so so many others.

its my growing opinion that the absence of an understanding the practically immutable truth of these sayings as well as experiencing them in the real life is what is leading to a total cognitive disconnect between an idea and the consequences of that idea in the real world. You have entire generations of kids coming up who have not only NEVER heard these expressions, dont know what they mean even if they have and whats worse, have never proven to themselves the veracity of the sayings and why they are true and have remained so.

Truisms like "those who dont learn from history are doomed to repeat it" are not true because they sound clever, they are true because the near certainty of the concepts they contain have been manifestly proven true across thousands of years by people in numerous cultures. The fact many of these sayings we have in English are ALSO in other languages all over the world seems to prove to me at least that many wise people throughout history in seeking to understand the nature of reality, the consequences of human action upon that reality and so forth, realized that there seem to be certain "rules" of human behavior in terms of predictable causes and effects that come from those behaviors. The inability or unwillingness to prove the value and truth of these sayings as MORE than simply clever sayings i believe is contributing to the "brain drained" SJWs many of whom are probably TOTALLY sincere but still TOTALLY and COMPLETELY WRONG in the manner they are going about their "mission".

Sure let's don't let an opportunity to trash Clinton pass.

Heck, Clinton was found to have said racist remarks did she not? But the left want to claim that democrats like Hillary are not racist anymore and are trying to help minorities...

Yup, she sure loves black people

I think a legit argument for those that repented late I life would be to have a statue of them late in life. Rather than in full battlefield regalia...

For example..

Nathan Bedford Forrest was an insanely good warrior and tactician in the war, but was like MOST other insanely good warriors. He was not a great human being..

And by "not a great human being".. I mean he was by modern standards a monster lol..

However late in life, like many old soldiers had seen too much and spent his final years repenting and became arguably a civil rights figure..

Built the biggest black church in Memphis , disbanded the KKK because they had become militan, exc..

A statue of an old repentant man, that really told the whole story would ACTUALLY remember history..

When YOU build statues that portray the evils committed by the democrats, specifying that the kkk was started by democrats, and they lynched, burned, and hanged white republicans who tried to, or helped slaves, alongside doing the same to slaves that democrats of the kkk caught.

Of course people like her won't ask for that. Of course people like her, who are democrats, don't want any monuments and statues showing that these "evils" that she/he is talking about were performed by democrats... It wasn't all white men, but he/she wants to claim that. That's the mentality of the left these days.

Yeah, those same Democrats that wanted states rights, less federal government, and less taxes. In other words, yesterday's democrats are today's republicans.

So in other words, you don't want true history to be known... You want to blame "all white men", instead of actually blaming the political system that did those things to people for having a different skin color, and different eye color.

BTW, republicans were always in favor of less government, alongside less taxes, but more state rights. It was the democrats who implemented the IRS with it's "progressive taxes" as it exists today in 1913, it was the democrats who implemented strict regulations on small businesses, etc, which gave more power to the Federal government.

As for your claim that "yesterday democrats are today's republicans". You are insane... Republicans are not all, nor are a majority "racist"... Not to mention that millions of minorities who are republicans as well... Your re-writing of history and facts for "fake facts" won't fly...

You just demonstrated the truth about the left in general, and corroborated my point. When "minorities" like myself happen to be "right-wing" you want to claim "republicans now are the democrats' kkk"... Which of course is nothing but BS.
