My new knife.

My new knife came and I love it .









So that brings my weapons tally to...

Longsword.
Arming sword.
3 hunting knives.
1 small skinning axe.
2 viking bearded throwing axes.
Pistol crossbow.
2 longbows 74 inch one a 30lb one a 60lb draw.
120 various arrows.
Oh and all my Armour.

As you can guess I have a feeling SWHTF one day and I'm all set .
Who needs guns? (mind you wouldn't mind one just incase.

That looks like good steel on that knife, watch you don't cut yourself with it. I cut the tip of my thumb off a few years ago showing how sharp a homemade knife was by flipping it to cut a sheet of paper. Oops, I guess showing off is not wise, the knife was sharp, it is great for filleting fish.

Really sweet! Who makes it? Expensive, I know that's relative to who's buying it. Craftsmanship like that can be cheap, enjoy years of faithful service!!

It depends how you want to go about it.

Sometimes its best to make the sheath out of wood, and then do a leather wrap, for a softer feel. Sometimes though, its best to get thick, rigid leather, and cut the thing out of that. I make all my sheaths and carry gear out of rubber sheeting, personally speaking, because its what I have available.
