Donald Trumps entire presidency has fallen into shambles. To be a President, you need to have people on your team that will work with you. One by one, Trump has lost his entire team. He lost the Tea Party and the Conservatives on health care. Then he lost the main stream Republicans. It took him mere moments to lose his good will with Democrats. His councils are disbanding. First it was the business council, then it was the strategy council, yesterday he lost the arts council, and over the Bannon issue he's now starting to lose evangelicals.

Gingrich who was a huge supporter of Trump, said on radio today that Trump is basically done. He has to restart everything from scratch, and he has a tainted reputation to overcome now.

His approval rate was at the lowest level yet, and that was before he came out supporting Nazi's. The latest numbers aren't in yet, but Trumps highest state was Texas at 42%. Once recent events are properly polled it will be even less than that. His support floor is about 20% (a group who said they'll support Trump no matter what), so 40% to 30% means he's lost half the remaining people that liked him and can be swayed.

I honestly don't see what Trump can do here. He has become completely isolated politically, and increasingly socially as well as his remaining handlers (Mattis and Kelly) have started to purge the crazies.

Soon resignation will be his only option remaining.

Edit: Since the Nazi issue, Kellyanne Conaway, Trump Jr, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner have scurried under rocks. Even his closest want nothing to do with him anymore.

This is why he wins, nobody that hates him will ever figure him out listening to the MSM.

Trump was discussing the events that involved self proclamed white supremicists and nazis and the clash from the "alt-left"...good and bad on both sides

Lemme ask you a question, do you agree there are good nazis and white supremicists? I mean, with only that as your understanding of a person/group. Sure, many may walk (white) old ladys across the street, but that matters little when their main drive is to drive to somewhere to make a stance against anything not white.

So...you are in agreement in Trumpland with the #notallnazis movement or are you seeing this could possibly, maybe, perhaps be a bit of a dumbs--t statement?

He's got the generals and while it creeps me out a bit, as it pertains to the Trump administration, he's much more likely to see harmonious operation with competent leadership and without the infighting.

The Mercer-Bannon folks aren't quite gone though and that might be a problem. Regardless of the circumstances of Bannon's departure, we can expect Breitbart to ramp up on McMaster and resume attacks on Kushner and everyone else.

This is a really interesting dynamic. Bannon, by all appearances, exerts a lot of influence over a big chunk of Trump's base and it's particularly disproportionate on social media.

I'd expect to see some others leave. Bannon is going to need to maintain lines of communication into the administration. But individual leakers are going to stand out more than ever and I'm going to guess Kelly is no dope.

Never had the conserves on health care

He lost the Tea Party and the Conservatives on health care.

Never had their support. Anything that Trump was going to do was going to reduce profits. They jumped ship at the earliest time to protect their profits using fake outrage.

First it was the business council,

Trump was not the Rupubs or Dems choice, Hillary was. He was not supposed to win, and he was not OK'ed to take the presidency by the usual processes and he must pay. He is a onion in the ointment and everyone but average working stiffs want him to resign.

President Trump is a product of 70+ years of life experience. Most of it successful.

He can rebuild the Administration, but Trump will never be "acceptable" (staid, boring, proper, lying) Presidential material. He is exactly what he was the day before winning the Presidency.

If it weren't for his respect of top military people, like General John Kelly (Chief of Staff), President Trump would have had an even wilder week than what we just saw.

He did promise to drain the swamp, but who would have thought that to drain the swamp his people would start quitting.

He doesn't have the generals though. Mattis is basically there out of a sense of obligation that if he isn't, Trump is going to do something stupid.

Kelly is furious with Trumps actions the past few weeks.

The rank and file cannon fodder in the military might love Trump but the leadership sure doesn't.

Also, I forgot this one, besides Bannon, Trump lost another key player today
www.cnbc.com...

This guy was supposed to be a top advisor and help him fix the economy. Instead, he writes a bitter letter full of ass covering, parting ways. So now Trump has lost the companies, the CEO's, the bankers, and the billionaires. And the workers are polling at an all time low.

Bannons timing is perfect for Trump. Lots were calling to get rid of him, and he already resigned. Trump gets to play Bannon leaving like he's cleaning house. Bannon gets to go back to work as an official rather than unofficial propagandist. It should be win/win for the two, and yet losing Bannon is making the evangelicals start to disadvow Trump now.

Successful? He has had one business success in his lifetime and that's licensing his name. If you tally up his businesses, almost all of them have failed, and he has actually lost money on them. It's only the businesses that other people run, and give him a cut for using his name that have brought him money.

I think this is why Bannon left the White House. He's going to lay the groundwork for a post-White House Trump. He's going to circle the wagons and unite the alt-right Breitbart fans in anticipation of Trump stepping down.

Trump will likely blame the "deep state"; calling it a "soft coup" by powerful elites. He'll play the victim, never taking responsibility for failing to hold his administration together. And let's not forget --Bannon wants to tear America apart -- he's stated as much several times.

Trump will also exit the position of POTUS a richer man as well. In the end, it's a win-win for Trump. He's made himself more relevant than ever, made some cash, and can look forward to a lucrative opposition media network.

Bannon claims Trumps presidency is over

Shambles might be too kind a description. If Trump is going to rebuild from this, he's starting at the absolute beginning.

Edit: Trump used to have 4 honorary degrees. 2 from Liberty University, and 2 from real schools. During the campaign when Trump floated his idea of a Muslim ban, one of those two was recinded. His second one is currently under serious consideration to revoke.

If he's staying, it's because of the reasons you just gave.

After all he is a bankruptcy queen (and welfare queen) and Saudis bailed him out twice financially (some others from foreign countries too)

But this time is he morally, politically bankrupt. I hope he won't sacrifice millions of people by starting all out war against Iran/NK to boost his rating/ego.

So everyone who appreciates Civil War era history is a white supremacist Nazi?

It's more like the neo Nazis came and the Media went into a frenzy labeling anyone against removing a civil war era statue as one of them. No different than when people protesting wall street bailouts got labeled as commies when OWS showed up with their commie leaders bullhorning their way to the podiums. Identity politics 101.

All things considered, Trump had a brand, it was phony and made in China, hotels, golf resorts etc, and that's all gone now.
His followers can't even afford to go to one of his resorts and now the elite will go else where because Trump is toxic. He has lost all respect
from those he wanted to impress so badly, the CEOs, world leaders in politics and finance.

And he did it while POTUS...the irony is so surreal it's mind boggling. Even his coming TV empire will just be a source for parody and jokes.
