I had my echo cardiogram done over a week ago and I even left 2 messages
with the cardiologist wanting to know the results.I had a doctor's appointment
earlier today and my family doctor looked up the results for me.My heart is functioning
within the normal range.I do have slight thickening of the heart and a very mild murmur.

I have had my work hours cut drastically and my blood pressure has already
gone down.I think that I was working too hard for my age and the short time
I have slowed down has helped.I want to thank everyone for their prayers and kind
words.

When you get older, you should try to work less if you can. It used to be that the jobs got easier for the older workers, the young were hired to do the hard work and the older people got the less intensive jobs. It has changed over the years, now if you can't do the job, they get rid of you. The whole system took a turn for the worse in the last fifteen years or so.

I'm glad you are doing better now.

So far this week its been heart scan, mammogram and the in the morning a shopping spree, I'd love the ability for a weeks complete rest as in the UK NHS they will quite often give you offers from cancellations if you are available to roll.

Hope everything is ok

I'm glad to hear that it wasn't the catastrophe you thought and that you will be able to live with some slight lifestyle modifications.

That's very good news compared to what it could have been, and I am sure your mind set at ease now.

The not knowing is what can really hurt you.I was a little anxious
but I wasn't allowing myself to worry about it.I know at my age
anything can happen.Thank-you for your kind words.

Good for you! I get 'em twice yearly too (small hole in heart-larger one in head
)....Slow down, and remember to breathe...

No job is worth it! God Bless!!

Glad you are able to slow down and be less stressed too!

Also Glad you've gotten reasonably good results. Who knows, with some more rest your heart function may continue to improve.

(((HUGS)))

Where I work they have hired more help. The main problem we were
having is that younger people don't seem to really want to work. All
they want to do is show sometimes and expect a good paycheck for
when they do come to work.

Yeah, a big portion of our youth are like that. The ones who like to work and produce feel embarrassed when they do work because the ones that don't want to work kind of shun them. We got some major problems in our societies.

Stress might have a lot to do with your health problems. Find something to do that's not stressful, like gardening.
