So some private Nike-Air Jordan shoes were put on Instagram. Jordan brands supports social causes that bring people together. Wonder if these shoes were made in Nike's well paying unionized safe factories in the 3rd world?

Frank Cooker, who works for Jordan brands on power drinks thought these very limited shoes should get some air time. He also feels this is a powerful message if these were released to the public.

Jordan Brand employee Frank Cooker, who primarily works on energy products for the brand and has leaked some special edition, not-for-the-public footwear on his personal Instagram account, posted this Air Jordan 1 with #BLACKLIVESMATTER printed on an ankle straps. It would be great to see Jordan Brand send a powerful message with a release to the public, with all proceeds going directly to charity that supports the cause for true unity in our country.

Okay then.

I'll wait to post the irony when some black gang banging teenager shots another for these shoes.

It has happened many times before.

Idiots.

I bet more black lives have been snuffed out over high dollar Nike shoes than killed by police. The virtue signaling of libs is just comical.

Political hacktavist.

Sorry.

Basically put.

Give a bunch of free money to insert whoever off the sweat and work of someone else.

Not a message America needs to hear.

I don't blame them because they will sell.

Just a company playing their market demographic. The majority of people who buy Jordan's are African Americans who are btm supporters

I wonder if Cooker, the person who let the BLM Jordan cat out of the bag. will be disciplined for the picture of these super secret shoes? Or is this a trial to see if these should go into full 3rd world production?

But, a big corporation wouldn't "use" their key demographic just to make a profit, right?

"In response to news of Nike's new Black Lives Matter shoes, the very White House has announced their own White House brand, Leichenblass Schuh, headed by White House CEO, Herr Bannon. Bannon's spokesperson, Trump, claims "There are many sides so we need many shoes. Many, many shoes". Their plan to market to white people who can't be racist because they have a black friend is only a step towards diversifying their previously-established target markets".

I love Jordan....... But he cares about poor black people about as much as any other Billionaire.

In other words not at all. Or the damm shoes would not be 600$ a pair .

You seem to salivate at the thought of this potentially happening...

It happens, do you have a balloon launch and cocktails each time it does?

We're so freaking divided that we look forward to fellow humans to get murdered over shoes so it can help prove our point of view. This is messed up, I a need a break from this crap.

Enjoy your divisive discussion.

Potentially???????

It has always happened.

Will continue to happen.

And shoe companies already know this.

So they put out ironic shoes like this??

Ok.

Not about me.

I wonder if these shoes were supposed to go public or not. Valid question.

This message needs to rot quicker than death. Every #ing life matters. Only egotistical monkeys would wear such stupid message.

A couple years ago, I was surprised as heck to learn that Air Jordans were still a "thing."

I was at an office Christmas party at a local restaurant, and we noticed a sizable crowd (all African American) standing outside of a shoe store across the street. In the rain. In temperatures barely above freezing.

Eventually, I wandered across the street and asked them what they were waiting for. They were waiting for the store to open because the new Air Jordans had just arrived.

I was stunned. I'd assumed that trend had died 10-20 years ago.

is there a special search engine for snowflakes?
if blacks wanting equality offends you so much why trawl the internet for it?

I find the fact that there is about $5 worth of materials in a shoe and they are made in horrific conditions very telling too. But we are very well insulated from sources of consumer goods.

And yes I thought the Air J died in the 1980-early 90's. But hey "free market".
