The Justice Department is ready to "announce" a crackdown on leakers !!

"People" are saying it's dangerous to National Security.

Others are happy about the leaks because they automatically believe all the information is real and true.

Lot's of the material supposedly is "classified", assuming it's real.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions and other top administration officials are making a show of force Friday in their battle against illegal leaks, planning to announce details of investigations into leaks of classified material.

The press briefing comes on the heels of one of the biggest leaks under this administration – the disclosure of transcripts of President Trump’s phone calls with two foreign leaders in January. Former federal prosecutors tell Fox News that leak likely constitutes a federal crime, and lawmakers of both parties have voiced concern about how that material got out and the security implications.

“Leaking the phone calls between our president and other heads of state is nothing short of a national disgrace,” Kellyanne Conway, White House counselor, told “Fox & Friends” on Friday. “I want there to be bipartisan outrage.”

When I see some folks being perp-walked in handcuffs out of those offices, I'll begin to believe somebody is serious about the leaking. Until then, it's just more hot wind from the swamp. I think a few days in the crossbar hotel would make some of the sleeze take note. Getting on tv and talking about it hasn't done squat.

And there are procedures to leak.

If you are a legitimate whistleblower, you go to a member of Congress with your information. Do you really and truly think that none of the Democrats would be able to do anything with this stuff? And do you further think that even if the Democrats had no political power, they wouldn't then know the proper procedures to publicly expose any improper conduct and further that the press would ignore it?
