Maybe the "protestors" threatened to kill him. Or ruin his business. Or threaten his family or children. Or his pets or property.

Then the police would have been notified.

Maybe they were. This is Berkeley.

In their defense.. The greatest cause of extinction on the planet is habitat loss due to animal farming.

Meat eaters are destroying the planet.

Serious question for you.

Is the greatest cause of habitat loss ACTUALLY due to animal farming?
OR
Is the greatest habitat loss due to other factors such as deforestation, pollution, over population, mining, etc?

There are just a handful of world issues that I feel VERY STRONGLY towards, and the habitat loss, environmental impacts, and the decline/potential extinction of the world's amphibian population tends to be one that I have the strongest concerns for. I have a fairly large collection of Dendrobate and Ranitomeya dart frogs and know how sensitive they are to the smallest changes in their environment. Ive always been under the impression that there are bigger issues impacting our world other than animal farming

Maybe the Berkeley cops are vegans and don't care about the delicious and juicy burgers and steaks with A-1?

A-1?

Really?

And I respected you!

Egads!

Try some garlic butter with fresh herbs blended in next time.

Don't ruin good meat with steak sauce!

That really should be a T&C violation.

I alerted the mods.

There really should be standards here.

What they don't realize is that meat eaters eat up this stuff. If I lived closer I would shop there on purpose just for their bs. If you don't want to eat meat that's fine but don't' tell me what to do. Also, if a bear eats a fish, is it torturing it?

I really think that if vegans and whatnot wanted to make a difference they wouldn't pull these stunts. All it makes me want to do is eat a burger to spite them for being obnoxious.

Set out a free vegan food stand instead, offer literature and your ideas without irritating people. If you're going to protest meat, the WORST place to do it is outside of a butcher shop that's espousing humane treatment of animals. I get they don't differentiate and it's all animal cruelty to them, but it's ridiculously tone deaf to us normies.

I'm all for treating animals more humanely, start there, not at I'm not allowed to eat meat.
