I am half way through the 2nd one and it is really interesting. I skipped some on the first video about who was who, etc but I sure enjoyed it so far. It kind of relates to what my theory was on the subject.

Yes, lands can sink and water can rise.
This fact was known to Plato, whose hometown was not far from Helike, which sank and was inundated 25 years or so before Plato died.

Not that there weren't other examples Plato was likely aware of.
