Public Outraged Teens Let Disabled Man die

I'm not going to link it, I'm sure you're all seen the story. A group of teens, supposedly smoking pot, laughed while watching a disable man drown.

Technically, the teens had no obligation to save the man, crying for help. The police are trying to find some crime to pin on them, I guess minors smoking pot will do, although I'm betting if you drug test them, you're going to find meth in their systems. Meth tends to disassociate folks, just my opinion.

Regardless, drugs and the scapegoating of drugs are not what this rant is about. It's the Republican Health Care package that they can't sell, and their willingness to laugh while watching the disenfranchised drown by letting "Obamacare" die. Make no mistake, whether victims drown in financial ruin or in pulmonary fluid, it doesn't matter to these, so called, people!

In an interview with The Economist, Trump said he would cut off the cost-sharing reductions (CSRs) — payments that reimburse insurers for providing discounted out-of-pocket costs to help those with low incomes afford insurance.    

"There is no Obamacare, it’s dead. Plus we’re subsidizing it and we don’t have to subsidize it. You know if I ever stop wanting to pay the subsidies, which I will," Trump said. "Anytime I want."

Insurance companies rely on the payments, and many have said they will be forced to raise premiums or completely drop out of the ObamaCare marketplace if the payments don't continue.

Now that lies Republican version of standardized health care for American citizens lies languishing, and all that left is The Ultra Right's mad urgency to repeal NOW, replace later (We Promise!, wind wink), will Congress and the President of Untied States of America act like a bunch of stoned teenagers, laughing at a disabled man drowning while crying for help? I'm sure somebody will video the massacre and put it on FaceBook and YouTube when Trump refuses to pay ACA guaranteed subsidies.

Obama care was a forced socialist act,quit trying to defend it with public interest story,and the fact you speculate they are on drugs,could just be the liberal way,they see someone die,their free handouts are saved,never show the family's who work and lost benifits,now 4 million lost their coverage because of it,so citing one example hardly justify's anything

Do you deny, or think it's funny, that if the President makes good on his threat to "defund" insurance company subsidies, that sick people will die for lack of insurance, while their families go bankrupt trying to save them?

Damn trump threw that kid in the water cuz he knew those black kids would just watch him drown.

I'm sure there is. This thread isn't about the story of the lousy teenagers who laughed while watching a disabled man die. It's a rant about the Ultra Conservatives and the AltRight laughing while letting "ObamaCare" die, effectively drowning the disenfranchised who are relying on those subsidies to live or keep their loved ones alive.

This thread is about Trump refusing to "own" the drowning.

Why does Trump own the failings of the ACA? He didn't push the crap law down our throats, enriching insurance companies while telling lies to the working poor who got royally screwed.

Before Trump came along, if I complained on ATS that Obamacare was a huge failure because my healthcare costs have skyrocketed...
I was told repeatedly that it was the fault of the insurance companies making tons of money.

Now I am hearing that Trump is out to kill people because he is refusing to subsidize the previously moneygrubbing insurance companies?
