What is the motivation and inspiration for this thread?

I belong to an Obedience descended from the French Rite; i.e., Le Droit Humain and the Scottish Rite, and based upon my experiences, this op holds no weight, and I've seen nothing in Lodge to corroborate these so-called "secret tools"
