I was listening to his talk at LLNL and he said and displayed photos he took while clearly flying missions. Getting wing commander permission security permission etc.

So there he was flying missions over NoKo being allowed to take close up pictures of running aircraft on the runway.

now there are obviously pictures in AF,CIA,NSA archives but these were HIS pictures. And I know they had to get security checked but alas they are still his and were still taken.

i wonder what long forgotten or current projects are in someone's photobook, that no one else will ever see.

p.s super nice guy

He used to set his 35 mm camera on the instrument panel, and it would start to overheat because of the heat being transferred through the canopy, so he would put it down by his knee, and it would start to freeze because of the altitude, so he'd put it on the instrument panel.....

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of Sled Driver for LESS THAN $1543.00 !!!
Or The Untouchables under $500.00?

After all his partner Col. Walter L. Watson, Jr., is forever the Speed Check God..

Edit: pics from Brian Shul..

The last image, zoom in on his visor. You'll see his glasses and the reflection of the camera on the HUD it looks like.
