You like to operate in the shadows but your prefered method of getting in contact is a generic email address. Wow you really suck at being secretive.

TEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HEE!!! I was gonna ask why he has two "s"s at the end of 'masons." And a gmail at that.

I hope my family plays this song at my funeral. I have to say Linkin Park is still awesome. I'm listening to some of my favorites right now.

That's so sad. I loved Linkin Park.
My condolences to his family. That was a group.

Donald Trump is a greater threat to the United States than terrorism.

McCain with brain cancer, now this. I guess he was right...

Agreed, but still...
Wife, kids, fans, respect from millions of strangers, money, ect.
He was able to get enough of a grip to start a family, but not enough of a grip to not hang himself?

I know it sounds crude, but it just pisses me off when people leave their kids behind because they couldn't handle whatever BS that made their life sooo much harder than everyone else's.

Who gets the pleasure of explaining that to the children? The woman he was supposed to love?
"Daddy wasn't happy" aint gonna cut it.

This song kept me alive for a long time. Post your favorite Linkin Park songs.

My favorite is "Papercut."

I could listen to the entire "Hybrid Theory" album all day though. Reminds me of those hot Summer days in 2001 when I was in the oilfield and had no kids... I'd get off at 5pm and have some beer with my buddies and crank that CD up in my truck and head to the other side of town to visit a girl that was dating a guy I hung out with on occasion, she was also my girlfriend's best friend... I miss those days but I don't miss the person I was. Sho was fun though... Lol

Apparently he had been abused as a child by an older male. Still, 6 kids have no father now - I feel sorry he couldn't keep it together for them.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!

I don't usually cry over celebrity deaths but I am now. I love his music, very recently some of his music helped me through a rough time. So sad. You never really know what someone is going through. This just shows money will not make you happy nor will fame and success. Depression can affect anyone.

WOW. RIP Chester.

True, that suicide is, in a way selfish; however:

He was able to get enough of a grip to start a family, but not enough of a grip to not hang himself?

Doesn't take much to knock up a girl. If marry someone you *hope* will be a beacon of light in your dark world, and who you even love, only to find that people, money, fame, admiration, etc can't cure it. Those don't make the demons or the depression go away.

they couldn't handle whatever BS that made their life sooo much harder than everyone else's. . . "Daddy wasn't happy" aint gonna cut it.

That is an ignorant statement that undermines what depression really is, and apparently you know very little about it.

I'd suggest you look more into it.

I got rid of my demon in 2010 when the divorce was final.

It just goes to show you, having fortune and fame is not the end goal in life. God bless.

You reminded me of this great insight I came across last week.

Anthony Robbins
While it is defined differently for everyone, a successful life for most people is based on two things:

1 The Science of Achievement, or the ability turn any dream into reality, to produce any result.

2 The Art of Fulfillment, or the art of finding joy in the process of whatever life brings; the power to understand,
appreciate, and enjoy our lives at the deepest level.

Weird, he sang at Chris Cornell's funeral and today is Chris Cornell's birthday. Also, what's with everyone hanging themselves? Like Robin Willams, and that guy from Kung fu? Chris also died from suicide by hanging right after his performance. Odd similarities if you ask me.

It's considerably less messy.
