There's much to be disappointed about with AG Jeff Sessions. He's a nice guy,

Because nice guys want to steal peoples property and lock them up for having smoke.

He does seem to be coming after the common man, more than he is for REAL crooks, doesn't he.

Did President Trump voice any "regrets" before firing James Comey? I don't recall.

Not that I recall. For all I know he enjoyed it.

OK..thanks. Then there won't be much "surprise" when President Trump fires Sessions. My guess is that he already has a replacement waiting in the wings. Who would be a GREAT Attorney General for President Trump and America?

Gary Johnson. Too stoned to steal my stuff, and he might share his own...if you get my drift.

Too much like Malfoy in Harry Potter. Maybe the house elf, oh no, that's Sessions.

That makes sense. I like Congressman Jason Chaffetz too, but he's shown a "Bark but no bite" streak as of late.

I think it's time to throw the asset stealing criminal under the bus. Get rid of Sessions.

Just get a good straight shooting Lawyer. Don't replace him with yet another career politicians.

I thought Gary Johnson was more of a laid-back party guy. "Aleppo? Yeah..I'll have some of that... Thanks!"

Sorry, I don't read those books, so I don't get the connection. What I do know is that I want a certifiable bulldog as AG, and we have one in Gowdy. My guess is that he will sink his teeth in and bybthe time he's done we will have so much dirt on Clinton and Obama, that by the time he's done they will be shunned forever, even on the left.

Can we assume since Trump gave an exclusive interview to the New York Times from the Resolute Desk, that they are no longer "fake news"?

Asking for a friend.

I'm sure Senator Elizabeth Warren must feel very vindicated right about now.

Trump knows there is nothing there...it's all policial. He would like someone to just get this all over with so he can move on from just another attack to his legitimacy as President.

No doubt he's cried "Uncle!", and decided to get on their good side? NYT broke the Trump Jr./Russia story.

Maddie on MSNBC just said Sessions is going to resign, so that means he'll be there till 2024.

Actually she may be right.

I had to help prepare an official response to Gowdy in 2013 for the Agency I work for. We all took it pretty seriously. He is both the hammer and the anvil. You never want him to get to the point where he remembers your name, or even your face!

ETA

Darrel Issa a is another fire-breather.

With whatever all these investigations uncovered , it is much nastier and deeper than Hillary wiping her server and Russia-Trump collusion . The whole game now is hiding , obstructing , deflecting....
Some folks somewhere got a ton of evidence of crimes committed by a lot of em. And way , way worse than your normal "corruption" charges.
And I think some high ranking officials are in the know. Now wondering what the next step should be. Release the information and end what we know of the US government forever , or carry on and hope for the best.
