Did China's new BVRAAM (PL-15) enter service?

Apparently spotted on a J-10C, it appears there is a new beyond visual range air to air missile either in final testing or already in service. Little to nothing is known about it other than this may be the missile that has been unofficially called the PL-15. We will see.

How many different ways are you going to build a radar guided air to air missile?

My bet's on a papier-mâché model. Looks good, but until it's used it could be anything.
