I agree partially. Liberals, progressives and Democrats do need, now more than ever to mend their own boats. They performed miserably in that last election and as long as the Dems allow their fossils to be the main focus of their movement they will start the next race in a sunken ship.

Were Pelosi or Shumer or Fienstien or any of the other old hacks truly liberal they would step down and let the new breed surface and take charge. One cannot be liberal and not understand that the older we get the more incapable of dealing with new social situations that have come about due to technology and all the quickly advancing changes. Liberalism was once built upon this. Embracing the new, taking the best of it and moving on. The democratic party has turned conservative in that they think that by continuing to support a power structure that was successful twenty and thirty years ago that that power structure will be effective now. That kind of thinking is not liberal, it is conservative.

I do not hate Clinton and will think of her no longer unless she raises her ugly head again or tries to assume some mythical throne to appease her own ego. That said I also do not hate Trump. He is a moron and I do not hate morons. What I do hate is people will not focus on the matter that Trump is an idiot and his grand plan, all along, was to hold up a mirror to all those who hated Clinton. He has played them as fools and won that round.

The Russian controversy has nothing to do with forcing voters to vote for Trump or to rig the election in Trump's favor. If you'd actually bother to pay attention to the allegations and investigations you'd know that. It's all about collusion, well legally it's called conspiracy, to use stolen information from an adversarial state to further your campaign. The adversarial state in this case is Russia. Trump Jr. just admitted to gleefully seeking out this collusion. This is SO bad for the Trump admin right now that even Sanders and Spicer, who are so willing to sacrifice their trustworthiness and integrity for the Trump admin that they are national jokes by now, don't want to comment due to legal repercussions they could wind up in if Trump Sr. undercuts them like he is known to do. Again. You'd know all this if you bothered to follow up on the Russian story even slightly instead of just casually dismissing it as nothing to see here.
