Former U.S. president Jimmy Carter received medical attention for dehydration while in Winnipeg on Thursday, where he is helping build a Habitat for Humanity home.
A Habitat volunteer told CBC News he saw Carter, 92, collapse after he'd been working in the sun for about an hour, using a handsaw to cut wood for a staircase. Carter's bodyguards rushed over and carried him to a nearby vehicle. Shortly afterwards, firefighters and paramedics were seen scrambling, and an ambulance arrived. The media was pushed back from the view of Carter before the ambulance left the site, followed immediately by his motorcade.

How much the factories for war hated Carter is directly proportional to his chopping at the defense budget back when he was president. He did more to defang the Department of 'Defense' than a direct attack by the Soviets, making the world a more peaceful place, not less of a one. The response was Reagan, who ramped up the war industry and look were that got us today? Endless war.
Thanks President Carter, we need more like you.

There was plenty of chaos all around the world and he wanted to play nice and pretend it wasn't happening.
If Regan had been like Carter, there would still be a USSR today and probably twice the size it was then
