I believe that murder is murder, regardless of who commits it or why, but I also believe that there IS a difference between someone who kills for money, and someone who kills because they are a part of a supremacist ideology. Someone who kills because they want to exterminate an entire racial group, or collection thereof, leaving only their own behind, needs to be wiped off the face of the world for the protection of everyone else, regardless of whether there is a death penalty precedent in the country they commit their crimes in.

Fascism MUST have its preferred methodology turned on itself, and its every advocate must be, eventually, terminated, if the species is going to survive. They will cause all our deaths otherwise, with nuclear war, with ground offensives, with ethnic cleansing, and the establishment of authoritarian control mechanisms even more Orwellian than those we are surrounded with now.

Lets say your interpretation is correct.

So what? Where's the crime?

How do you know he wouldn't turn the information over to the FBI? How do you know? You don't, because 1) there was no information 2) had there been, you nor anyone else knows what his intentions were 3) the crime would have come after had he taken any information, and used it for political gain, IF he was a full fledged member of the campaign. But then, only if he paid for it, or given guarantees of something in return. Collusion is a political term, it's not a legal term with the exception of anti-trust cases.

Merely going to the meeting, is not a crime, no matter what is in those emails.

Him walking away from what was obviously a setup shows just how smart he is.
