Hitler's biggest mistake was starting WW2 and taking on the British and their Commonwealth.

Let's face it, the rest is just history.

At one point Britain had less than a week's worth of food.
The battle of the Atlantic was being lost.
Had the Luftwaffe continued bombing British airfields the RAF was mere days away from being wiped out.
It was a very, very close run thing as you Brits like to say.

Exactley , it makes you wonder what old Adolph got up to while in Liverpool England for some 18 months , no painting done lazy git as some of the old service men would say but Generals tell it like it is ! War Is A Racket www.ratical.org... .

Captains to www.amazon.co.uk...

Something tells me Hitler was a pawn in a bigger game being played , A homeless gay drifter artist then goes on to become the leader of the most educated & well read country on the playet at the time .

I can remember reading somewhere a quote by a American officer just after WW2 that the patients that were seized from a small un-bombed area of 3 sq miles more than payed for WW2 .

Hitler was a muppet butt a usefull muppet for the future state of Isreal

Where all Britians Gold went is any ones guess as was the mad panzer dash to find the lost treasure from the Temple in France
from the middle East that led to the mysterie of this place www.bibliotecapleyades.net... Hitler loved his gold

www.rense.com... mind you gold fever was all the rage back then , the old sailor who raised me told me a story when i was a child about gold bars raining down on him one night in Canada while unloading a cargo ship and all his voyages in the convoys of WW2 .

I sure do believe them now after years of trawling the net

Hitlers decision on the ME262 jet was nothing compared to the British decision not to take up Frank Whittles jet engine in 1935, quite a few years before the the German counterpart.

The SS. They didn't do much of anything useful.

Captured Kharkov twice, held up the British advance in Normandy (allowing the Americans to break out of the bocage),
Got V2 production going, at the expense of the slave labour, I know, there are other examples, but someone will call me a nazi, I just read a lot of history.

British gold went to America to pay for the armaments and ammunition used by the Brits. (thereby bankrupting itself for the second time in 50 years.)

he needed the Caucasus oil fields

I just looked up which side Saudi Arabia was on during WW II (since Hitler enjoyed close ties with the Grand Mufti of Palestine) and saw this on wiki:
Saudi Arabia severed diplomatic contacts with Germany on 11 September 1939

Pretty much everything we paid, went to fund the Marshall plan.

Mind you, defeating the Nazis, might have been worth sacrificing the Empire for. God knows what the world would look like if we hadn't taken that course.

What leftist socialist agenda did he push? Just curious where you learned that and would like to educate myself on how Fascism is leftist or socialistic.

Fascism originally started off as an offshoot of the nationalist-leaning socialists, since the socialist movements at the time were riddled with internationalists, syndicalists, trotskyists and all sorts of other "ists".

Nazism isn't really a coherent ideology. It was just whatever nonsensical contradictory babble Hitler and Goebbels happened to think of that day after getting out of bed.

Thank you but I was actually being sarcastic. The socialistic notions of the NAZI party were not the same as the bible thumping alt-right fear from modern socialism.

Read up on it. Frank Whittle had a working jet engine in 1935, that's 1935. He was side-lined for a number of years before the Gloster Meteor was rolled out in 1943, that's 1943.
If they had took Whittles engine seriously they could have had a viable working jet aircraft in the late 1930s. If they had done that the Mosquito and the Spitfire would not be the iconic aircraft of the time.

A thread about how poor a strategist Hitler was wouldn't be complete without Hitler having a meltdown after not being able to deploy non-existent divisions in the defense of Berlin:

Letting a Jewish doctor take care of him during the war years inded right to the end with a free reign of drug coctails. Considering what was going on that was total madness

That was not a mistake. The Brits sided with the French. By the time he invaded other European countries he did not expect they would be allies to the Brits. It was the Brits who declared war on Germany.
