When you live outside the norm, outside the box, off grid, how many ways are there to say it?

You see the world from a wholly different perspective. Something you have to experience to understand.

We have a different use of the word: World.
The way you describe it: would personally call that society.
For me: World means an entire planet. But also: the inside world of our inner mind, and the outside world wherein we observe and sometimes participate.
Sometimes we speak of a world, meaning a particular sphere of activity. Like: The Hockey World; the gaming world; and of course: the strange world of Floyd Mayweather.

OP: We hope you're feeling better today. Did you turn-off your TV?

Yah okay, sorry. Even better terms would be the system, the establishment, the world order, etc.

Society is more the peoples niche in that order, something I opted out of long ago.

Thats why I seem antagonistic towards icons (see my 'mood' in avatar).

Those at the top would have us believe our world is their world, far from it.
Its an illusion they hold up like a carrot on a stick.

Indeed. Glad you are feeling fine. Not sure why there was an impression of illness. Must just be me projecting something.

You haven't missed anything from the programming box.
But how can you be sure you've been receiving your regularly scheduled programming?

Our society became 'picturized'. We dont want to hear or touch anymore. Sit and watch as many quick changing images as You can, just it.
