I'd guess, and I'm sure some of you have as well, this thread is exactly why the product is called "soylent green".

Personally, having watched that movie, not touchin' it. Nope. But I am talking about it...which is the point, I'm guessing.

There's nothing inherently wrong with eating human meat. It's good food. It has the closest "protein" to that required by humans for sustenance. It's just that we think killing another human just to eat his or her flesh is wrong. But, if they die of natural causes, or car accident (road kill), why feed their flesh to the birds (Tibet), or to the fish (India), or destroy the flesh with cremation, or feed the flesh to the worms (burial), etc..Just make sure you don't eat the brain, which can have dangerous "prions".

I could eat young folk (better more succulent meat I reckon) but not old folk meat....I used to look after the elderly and nope I would have to turn veggie.

I thought eating people made you sick? And if your society is starving, therefore sick, wouldn't it be even worse.

Supposedly just eating brain is the cause of sickness - but - I’m not so sure how reliable that is?
