I'm sorry, but what a terrible thing to hope for! Those with opposing opinions, beliefs, morals, ethics, etc. are slated for death soon and you can't wait??

No. We are not suggesting death.

We are suggesting that toxic beliefs should be eradicated.

I don’t believe in violence or coercion. I believe in an open dialogue. The pen is mightier than the sword.

I hope that through an open dialogue and an exchange of ideas that people will drop their faith.

Death is the last thing I want for anyone.

How can you have an open and honest dialogue with opposing beliefs gone?

I eat the same food as most other folks.

If what you are saying was true then I am pretty sure we would all be swapping gender.

Actually what you say makes no sense you are making the assumption that genetically modified food ingested can somehow alter the make up of our DNA, as if eating a GM burger is going to start swapping all my chromosomes about.

Again the ignorance on this topic is outstanding.

Now am off to go eat a GM sausage then braid my hair.....

I'm guessing you don't have a basic understanding of genetics.

No two people are a like in anyway. Even twins are not quiet the same.

We all have these gene mutations. Some for the good. Others for the bad. It effects us all differently.

Also no. You do not eat the same food you or someone else eats. That's impossible. So with that. One farmer uses pesticide x and another farmer uses hormone d. Not all farmers grow and use the same crap for their #.

While others may think their normal or special its just the result of mutations.

Good. Live and learn. I deal with financial disstress here and there. Suck it up buttercups. No pity party for me.

Toxic beliefs should be eradicated, have to ask, how do you think, violence, death?
Toxic people, do you think open dialogue, especialy the way you dialogue will work, doubt it

Faith doesn't cause the animosity, it's people like you. People who want to force their views on others.
People who want others to drop their faith, like some want abnormal people to drop their abnormalities

See what I did there.
I showed you how you look, just like those you hate, just the other side of the coin

Could you elaborate on this "felt different" at the age of 4? I'm the OP of the current active transgender thread and I've been trying to figure out how it's possible for an infant to realize their "different" when they can barely comprehend the basics of gender.

Due to the overwhelmingly negative response to this thread I am going to have to decline sharing any of my own personal experience here. I feel that doing so would only be met with more ridicule and mockery and I don't really feel like exposing myself to any more of that than I have to. I took the time to post a well articulated and structured thread based on a study conducted by a team of scientific experts and the majority of responses have amounted to "derp..ur different and I don't understand nor am I willing to even attempt to derp derp".

So for all of you Trans bashers you're welcome for the easy stars, this was an uncontested lay up for ya'll. A chance to come in here and contribute nothing positive nor informative to the conversation and rack up some easy attaboys. So pat yourselves on the back's and feel good in knowing that you have contributed nothing of value to the discussion. Just more of the same old tired rhetoric and ignorance. On a marketing note maybe ATS and 4 chan should consider a merger, I think the two demographics would mesh rather well.

Ok fair enough.

Still does not really change anything though.

The cause of Gender dysphoria are unknown also gender itself is not a biological entity anyway so I would still be inclined to argue that it is not caused by GM foods. I personally believe it to be much more like sexuality in that it is a product of our environment, in my view, although like i have said it is not a topic i have devoted much time to

Ok now I'm a bit concerned about your true position here.

What is a "toxic belief"? Those that differ from your own??

Who determines such things as to which beliefs are good or bad?

Just because you believe something doesn't necessarily make it true, but if it doesn't jive with your own, it needs to be eradicated????

Seriously? ? ?

Maybe you should flip the scenario and ask yourself if that's what you would like done with your beliefs, etc.

Geezus...

Oops, pretty picture. My bad

Poor silly man

I am no ally, I don't think you are fighting for equality, you want control, it oozes from every post.
You poison the people you think you champion.

Find the middle ground, we don't need to fight
I have no problems with others choices, as long as no one is being harmed

What?

You have posted twice so far on this thread and from what i can tell so far you dont really have anything meaningful to say other than disrespect for the OP.

What is your problem with this issue?

If you can more than a one lined response.

Hey RB, I am sorry
I am a chtristian and I know how hard some in my faith treat your kind, I am sorry
I believe in Jesus, He taught Christians to love everyone, judge no one.
It is tough, I wish there was something I could do, not much I can.

Your message was heartfelt
It is painful, I can't imagine
Your message was good, it helped me understand the pain transgender go through
I will be aware of it

It will take work from both sides
Things seem to be changing, that must be good at the very least

A link would be nice, and are you saying that my thread is not an attempt at a real discussion? From my standpoint it surely was exactly that. I can't help it if an angry mob shows up and derails my thread via mockery, ridicule and narrow mindedness. I certainly did attempt to open a doorway to a real discussion but it seems that around here what passes for a real discussion on Transgender topics is more often than not a thread with negative connotations and insinuations in regards to the Trans community posted by a non Trans person no doubt.

To me toxic beliefs are like porn, you now them when you see them.

It is a very difficult question you ask, I think though as society moves foreword we are becoming more tolerant and "toxic" views are slowly being eradicated. Homosexuality is the best example, 50 years ago if you saw a man kissing a man in the street you would run for cover, might report them, might shout some abuse, these days nobody really bats a eye. Society moves foreword, racism is the same and I think gender will go the same way.

Sure you will always get a few morons who think a person has less worth because they chose to kiss another guy/girl, are black or chose to change gender but for the most part those toxic views are being eradicated. 50 years ago to be homophobic was the norm, in some places racism was the norm, these toxic views are now frowned upon and quite rightly.

I think that is what people mean when they talk about eradicating toxic views.
