The irony is that if he met the OP in person (or any transgender person) he would be very accepting of them and call them by their proper pronouns because he wouldn't know unless they told him.

Again, if you have a kid that turned trans, and he doesn't have something in the chromosomes that are messed up, look in the mirror and ask yourself as a parent where you failed.

This world is tough enough without confusing our kids at an early age.
Not everyone is cut out to be parents I guess, you say you would be happy if your kid was a hard working loving person, and that is fine. We are home schooling our grand daughter so that she turns out to be hard working, loving and not mentally ill. I hope your children do not turn out mentally ill, but if they do, you will still love them as you are their parent. If they do, you must ask yourself if you could have contributed by keeping your head in the sand and not being vigilant and protecting them from a society gone mad.

The title of this thread is wrong, transgender is still a mental condition according to the WHO and DSM 5.

Man.. some of those drag queens look like creepy clowns to me ( shudders) .. and kids are supposed to enjoy this?

It's creepier than child beauty pageants, though those are creepy to me as well.

It's our job as parents to teach and prepare our children for life.

We want them to be successful, happy and rich so they can take care of us when we get old.

If one of my sons came home in a dress and high heels, the first question I'd ask is, "Where'd you get heels in a size 13?"
