LGBT only ask for acceptance as human beings, not their orientation or identity and not to be treated as freaks.

I disagree. But I will clarify my point for you.

I have nothing against gay people, and I have nothing against trans people. But the minute it starts to be special case pleading it gets my goat completely.

There is no reason for me or anyone really to make a special case for a trans person. They should just live their lives as normal members of society. But that isn't what happens in reality.

So that is my opinion.

Was it "special case pleading" when the black people wanted the same rights as everyone else? Would that get your goat at well?

No, and nor can it be compared. Don't just think you can straw man me ok?

EDIT: Just to add, tell me what rights a black man has that a trans person is denied.

Deflecting with the strawman claim.
As expected.

If I met you in a pub Phoenix ... I 'd probably think you are just an average female and have a friendly conversation with you if I could.

If you told me you were transgender, I'd probably buy you a drink and ask if you want to talk about it... respecting you if you didn't.

If any one was unusually rude or very offensive to you.. I'd stick up for you.. because I hate seeing people bullied .. even when it happens to my enemies.

I don't hate transgendered people but I don't accept it as being normal.

That's just me... and hopefully you wouldn't want to see me bullied in the pub as well, for merely expressing my views.

Sheye what made you draw this conclusion

Do you think that people who commit crimes such as abusing children should get special rights because its classed as a medical condition, when their "medical condition" hasnt been proven to prevent them from making morally sound decisions.

Do you think that the trans community are in the same group as pedophiles ? or is that society as a whole sees them as immoral or wrong and therefore just brushes them with pedophiles ?

trans people are consenting adults , they arent abusing children so Im not sure why society will at some point just go oh hey you know having sex with children is morally ok because its a sexual preference. It's a crime and will always be a crime.

That's exactly the point. Acceptance.
This thread is a result of bullying and insults to the transgender community. Too many transgender people have been abused and killed in hate crimes. We bring studies and researches in hope to help those people understand the reality of it.

I have no idea how it would contribute to her gender dysphoria Im not educated in that field , it was just a speculation most of the discussion as you can see is speculation.

There is nothing wrong with having far out theories , we need people to ask questions which are furtherrrrrrr out

It's called the slippery slope argument which is a fallacy.
It's basially people telling people not to do something because it could lead to something worse.
They used the same argument with the black people.

Apparently transgendered are not always consenting adults .. as we can see by the push to bring this awareness to children and offer them hormone therapy to transition at a young age.

Oh yeah.
I'm known for extremely far out theories.
It's ok to have a speculation but I'm just asking to be careful with it because it can further confuse people, causing misinformation. If there is an actual case of porn influencing gender dysphoria then I will gladly read it.

The right to be treated as equals for starters? The right to not be treated as subhumans?

I would say to you then , that trans people exist , they are real and human , and therefore natural and normal as much as you or I , acceptance is the first step in understanding and goes a long way.

Humans have a very close minded olympian view of normality adonis in males , the aphrodite female , we seek perfection in everything we manufacture and our art etc but nature is imperfect and its beauty comes from its tiny crazy infinite imperfections , well maybe thats just me !

there is probably no such study , but Im sure there will be a study on the sexualisation of children , but there is also a social stigma with this subject.
It's not something we as humans like to talk about.
However I believe it of paramount importance in order to protect the future of our species!

I like to cite research where necessary , I wouldnt like to spread misinformation.

I wasn't really offended per se but rather wanted to point out how that assertion could be found to be offensive. Had someone I actually know and care about in a real world way made that comment it might have actually hurt. It would make me feel as if they could not tell the difference between me someone they know and care for intimately and a filthy pedo if that makes sense.

I have nothing to do with anything happening in the school system and I don't have any children so really no dog in that fight. Also being Trans by default makes me bias so in all fairness I try to avoid that fight.

The sexualization and social engineering of children is nothing new. It got worse since the 80's through TVs and movies. Heck we have chld beauty pageant! That is UNNATURAL! If you want to talk about child abuse that would be the one.
People have been claiming that there is social engineering going on to confuse children and encourage them to be the opposite sex. I've yet to see that.

How is that an issue? Have you actually read the statutes? How about watching tv? Where exactly is a trans person legally treated as a subhuman?

If you want to talk about societal acceptance that is a different thing. And you can not force people to accept what they refuse to accept, but legally?

WTF are you even talking about?

Transgender people have been murdered in hate crimes.
What the heck are you talking about? Forcing people to accept them legally? Are you talking about Canada and the UK?

Maybe you are just blind to the reality of this social engineering. Many see it.. it's as clear as black and white.
