Three Questions for Left Wing, Russian Collusion Believing ATSers:

As you all know, I don't believe much of the collusion hullabaloo, but I was thinking about the whole thing today and I'm having trouble understanding what the charge of Russian collusion is even supposed to mean.

1) What specifically do you believe transpired between the trump campaign and russia that was both illegal and unprecedented?
2) Why do you believe they (russia and trump) did it?
3) When do you believe it started?

I don't believe it but I believe the narrative goes something like this, Trump's agents had many meetings and communications with Russians who would assist him in winning the general election by 1, hacking the DNC and Hillary, 2, Flooding the internet with fake news about Hillary's health, etc., and 3, hacking into voting machines and or other computers containing vote counts and adjusting accordingly. The proof of any of this? Undocumented "leaks" from unnamed sources.

I'm curious what the responses will be as well. From what I saw of the whole Russia thing, most of it didn't even make sense, as alot of it was centered on the accusation that people from Trump's team talked to Russians... Well they also talked to Canadians and Germans and French, etc etc, but you don't see anyone yelling about Trump colluding with Canada. Governments are supposed to communicate with each other. Russia was just a convenient anti-Trump bogeyman. The whole thing is obvious nonsense, so this should be an entertaining thread.

I'm going to hold out on judgment until I see what they believe and think. Maybe we're approaching this from two different angles and that's why we can't seem to have a constructive dialogue on the issue.

The Cold War ended years ago. No more Russia boogeyman . The only ones that believe different are the truly ignorant folks that have not made it to the 21st Century . The ones still living in the 50s 60s and 70s.
And why would Trump be a traitor ? Reagan met with Russian (Soviet Union) leaders often . Yeltsin and Bill Clinton actually became friends. And they met 18 times. During Clinton's first term

1) I THINK Russian intelligence contacted a trump associate and offered the deal of the century..

They (Russia) gets all the private staff emails of his political opponent and drops it on the eve of the election, too close to even know if they contain anything felonious. In exchange for dropping sanctions and maybe not interfere if with Ukraine..

A deal any cut throat buisness man takes if he thinks he can get away with it.

Trumps only change to the GOP party platform being not giving Ukraine weapons.. the ONLY change trump made.


Flynn being a foreign agent for turkey, a Russian puppet state..

Flynn telling the Russian ambassador he would lift sanctions.

The CIA, FBI and NSA all saying Russia hacked the dnc and helped trump win both the GOP primary and the presidential election..

Multiple trump people lying about meetings with Russian officials..

Multiple people fired when stories of their connections to Russia surfaced..

Exc.. there are a few more I'm forgetting..




2) because it is a great deal that benefits both parties.

This deal isn't like the Hillary and obama theories that require a mustache twirling villian to be true..

This is a deal half the population takes if offered.. how many Americans care one little bit about Russian sanctions or helping Ukraine??? Not many...

a Russia isn't communist. The government of Russia is considered a federal semi-presidential republic. They hold elections and most are legit unless Putin appears on the ballot.

If so many people believe what they see on the news, wouldn't that make any news that supposedly used any of the so called Russian narative part of the problem ?
And I have asked this one before ....why do people think it's ok for the US To interfere with other countries elections? What is the GD difference? ....none!
I don't think Russia twisted anyone are to vote for trump , comey created more problems for Hillary towards the end of the campaign than anyone, not to mention that she really didn't even try to get any new voters because she believed that she was going to be handed the seat .
Of you want to blame anyone ,blame her and her party for being lazy and feeling entitled and just did enough to only look like they were trying to win people over , so ask yourselves where all that campaign money went ? They spent more than ever in history and did less than ever because they thought it was going to be handed to them . no they want to try to come up with anything to make it someone elses fault. Does she think that if trump is removed that the runner up gets the prize ?
