Look at how many key entities seem to be putting themselves out of reach: the DNC server, Podesta, Obama ...

Isn't this the first time Trump met Putin in person?

Perhaps some new information was revealed in this Russia interference conspiracy, and the truth is starting to come out regarding what is really going on. And now Podesta and party are a bit nervous about what might have been revealed?

Yep and all hearings are in private - yet not one MSM outlet has moaned about that after whining when they thought Sessions hearing was private. Susan Rice is the next up - bet that will be in private too, so no one can see her obvious lies and taking the 5th.

Possibly - Trump stated that other people or countries may have been involved...and his claim was supported today by a member of the House investigation who has seen the latest classified info.

If Putin wanted to mess with our election, I am pretty sure that he would not leave evidence behind.

Trump is being his genius self again. Everyone is watching closely to see how Trump and Putin together are handling the election discussions, and with one tweet, Trump redirects attention back where it belongs, to the real culprits - Hillary Clinton and crew.

It was even in the news a couple times about the russians and their dem connections.

So why is it a big deal now?

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's finally getting the focus it needs. I hope they all get put away, podesta and his brother are real pieces of work.

But will this go anywhere now?

I forgot the foreign guys who were doing IT for a lot of the key members of the DNC during that time. Weren't they Pakistani and mysteriously disappeared? So they're out of reach now too.

His claim that he had "nothing to do with the DNC" is rather odd, given he was running the campaign for their "winning" candidate. Seems a bit like he was over compensating against the accusation No doubt he would have been heavily involved in discussing what to do about the 'hack' as it related to the campaign messaging.

Of course they were. He led the Hillary campaign. The entire DNC was geared towards the messaging for her campaign.

Got to say it would be mighty funny if Putin was spilling the beans on the Podesta brothers dealings with Russia.

Always interesting to go back and look at the stories of the time to see if they have some relevance to current times...
Here's one from summer 2016 where Russia claimed the narrative that they hacked was a cover up to hide domestic interference in the election...

Well of Putin wanted to create havoc the best way would be to give Trump some Intel it's a win win for him. Trump would apreciate his honesty. And at the same time he would create a #storm in Washington. Imagine if the DNC fabricated the Russian conspiracy to hide illegal dealings with the Russians. It also explains seth rich I was never convinced he would be killed for leaking e mails. But if they were worried about what else he had access to that pits a different spin.
