How many Syrian cease fires have been announced in the past 3 years ? How many of them were disrupted by Al-Quaeda or by the EU?

Oh, we all know the left is going to start spitting and sputtering and try to get more sanctions put on Russia....just to make Trump fail. There may even be another fake chemical attack again. I sure hope Trump doesn't fall for that kind of thing again.

You're right, cease fires mean nothing when dealing with Rebels or terrorist groups.

They mean nothing if the main parties are not part of the cease fire. Syrian Government, the rebels, and ISIS are not part of this and they are the ones on the ground fighting. It is between Jordan, USA, and Russia.

Maybe this is why the media and the left are so pissed off that Trump and Putin had a converation. They prefer war, big war, except with NK because thry are a socialist paradise.

Of course Trump is winning on the world stage, Obama ran around losing so much there was hardly any chance of Trump not winning. Tired of winning yet?

I think Obama was seen as weak, Trump is diffidently not seen as weak. We saw this when Obama went to Saudi and was basically alone on his arrival and walking down the stairs there, Trump was met by the King at the bottom of his stairs...

Obama apologist attitude was not taken well by world leaders, to say the least.

We need to remember that the whole Russian "cold war" angle was a Hillary narrative, and if Hillary was President today we would be back in a cold war scenario.

Isn't this ceasefire #3? Seems like a PR stunt gifted by Putin to his choice in American leaders.

Could be, or maybe Russia wants to work with us, and with Hillary it would have been impossible. The only reason Russia is aligned with Syria is because they have a huge navy presence there. Let them have it...lol

"US, Russia announce Syria cease-fire after Trump-Putin talks"

I would have thought Syria should be the one announcing cease-fire?

Can this lead to a cooperation between Russia and NK and maybe China to fix NK ones and for all? Time will tell...

Unlike Trump Obama doesn't own a business in SA so Trump has already kissed those boots enough. Not to mention Trump is scared of stairs so the king was nice enough to meet him to give him moral support.

Where did this nonsense come from? The world thought very favorably about Obama. Since Trump took over their view that Trump will do the right thing is dropping like a rock. The world even liked Bush more than they do the koolaide kid.

The cold war never ended so how is it a Hillary narrative? When did the GOP become bff with Russia? For decades they have been screaming about them.

You cannot fix a nation that does not wish to be fixed.

North Korea is as much of a lost cause as some of our own supposed first world nations. Until its people come together and manage to remove the corrupt totalitarian power base they will be perceived and shaped as the enemy.

Fact of the matter however is that North Korea are not a significant threat to any other nation other than South Korea who they are technically still at war with since the 1950s.

And if Kim Jong-un is stupid enough to tackle crossing one of the most heavily defended, mined, and dangerous DMZs in the world i imagine NK would be picking cruise missiles and laser guided munitions out of there teeth for the foreseeable future.

End of the day NK are not threat to the world, we are the real threat and we are the ones waging war across the globe.

Since the Syria cease-fire actually had been worked out in the weeks before the G20, not as a result of the G20 meet, only announced after the meet, I am puzzled as to what was discussed for 2+ hours. The meeting had been scheduled for 30-40 mins, Melania was sent in after an hour to tell her husband it was time to go but was rebuffed, and the time together continued. What was discussed?

How long did it take to give a win to Russia, admit defeat over the election cyber attack by agreeing to “move forward” from “intractable disagreement”? Maybe it didn't take long at all for Trump to capitulate, and the rest of the time was chit chat among "friends".

Wow, really buster you just can't fathom Trump just might be experienced? Spoon fed Obama didn't own anything period.. did education for a good while then was a community organizer a. k. activist, oh and then was spoon fed into a Senator seat where he was still wet behind the ears ran for President...lol lots of experience there, and we sure felt it for 8 years...

My fix is to totally remove the leadership, unite with SK and spend the next 40 years getting mind washed people to finally live a better life.

One Mans fix is another Mans dilemma.

We should all be so fortunate as to spend the next 40 being mind washed people to finally live a better life, but then we have people like Trump, May and Putin to content with.

Darned if we do and dared if we don't really.

That is fine, at least our pilots and soldiers will not be getting shot down or killed. Same with the Russians.

True, but we will always have a Trump Putin etc...always... The bottom line is because of the media people worry more about things that will have little or no effect on their lives and ignore things that have the most effect.
