Anyone notice the Jezebel controlling N Sync like puppets? I don't know... i sorta been pointing out the devil's allegory/lilith bohemian grove stone owl, pulling the strings behind the elites/illuminati. And how it is shown in videos but anywho

as for CNN....

I'm embarrassed for America that CNN is based here.

But on the plus side, I think it's only a matter of time now before they completely collapse under the weight of their partisan fantasies.

...its already a done deal...

Are we out of the woods and free from fake news? Doubtful. But from the looks of the Polish president, he may have delivered the final nail to the coffin to one tentacle of the mainstream media giant.

The role of a news reporter is to "give us news". And, for the record, the role of the President of the United States is NOT to "give us news", it is to run the country and engage in foreign policy to protect the nation and its citizens. News has nothing to do with that role, wow....you are deluded and misinformed aren't you?

I do think that is the most ridiculous statement I've have seen here at ATS in a long time.

I know it is not the case with the current president, but the role of the president is to make sound and factual news, comments, whatever you want to split hairs and call it...what the president says creates news. So what he said should most likely not be straight up belligerent faux news.

Drumpf is getting by with this bc it's unprecedented and quite frankly, I don't think anyone really knows how to handle his belligerence but you my dear and all the other brainwashed trumpeters can twist, cherry-pick and deflect all you want. And I will point it out and laugh whenever I can 👍🏾

Just no. The President's job is not to give you news. Good lord.

Here is a summary of what your Constitution says is the President's job:

1) Is the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces of the United States, and of each state’s militia when the nation has need of it
2) Has power to obtain information and opinions from heads of the executive departments
3) May grant pardons and reprieves for crimes against the United States
4) Makes treaties with other countries with the approval of the Senate
5) Appoints ambassadors, federal judges and heads of executive departments – all subject to the approval of the Senate; the President also has power to fill any vacancies that may happen while the Senate is in recess
6) Must report to Congress from time to time about the state of the union and recommend whatever measures he thinks are necessary
7) May call members of Congress together on extraordinary occasions, as well as adjourn their meetings when they cannot agree on their own about when to do this
8) Receives foreign ambassadors and other public officials
9) Is responsible for enforcing the nation’s laws
10) Issues commissions to all officers of the United States

He's not a journalist. In fact NOT giving you information is part of his job as Commander in Chief if such information puts citizens in danger. There is no requirement at all for him to give you news.

A CNN journalist retweeted a video that showed an edited video to make it look as though there was no handshake. The rather ridiculous 'OHMYGOD' schoolgirl tweet by a supposed journalist is obvious in it's intent.

And all he said was Ohmygod, over and over. That only implies shock, not intent on pushing a false narrative.

So, no, it's not my claim. CNN decided to spread this fake news and they have been caught once again.

Again, false. The Polish President does not reference CNN and CNN did not claim no handshake took place.

Like I said , CNN tried to spread fake news and the Polish President called out the fake news for what it was.

Like I sad, show me where CNN pushed fake news on this case. Simple request. Where did they say no handshake took place or where Cillizza claimed the First Lady would not shake Trump's hand.

I already did - fake news was posted on Twitter. A CNN journalist pushed it. Fake News comes in more forms than words. The President of Poland viewed it as fake news too.

Your obfuscating again.

Well, I would say that you are stretching it a bit, but that would be false. You are actually making # up.

Nothing fake was posted on twitter and CNN, nor any of it's employees, expressed or implied the First Lady did not shake Trump's hand.

You literally made up your own fake news.

Is it entirely possible the utter denial of reality by fervent leftists is fueled by brains being in shock?

I have noticed a great craniosacral therapy treatment center removes much damage and provides freedom.

A fully unlocked brain is a tough thing to LIE TOO.

I'm not.

When companies of that size implode it is due to poor management/leadership. They need to make a change to restore order and what semblance of credibility they hope to retain.

Are you claiming they have ever had order?

Looking back they have been pushing false narratives since 9/11 at the very least...with tons of fake news.

It is the RECOGNITION of this in totality that has changed.

It has taken us over 15 years of telling the left middle and right this fact and amazingly finally is slowly being seen by those that sarcastically explain away "conspiracies".

Fake news since before Masonry began.

Of course they have.

They established an entirely new system of broadcasting news which was copied by many other companies.

CNN did not.

CillizzaCNN

Their journalist, their agent, meaning they did.

So if a journalist at Fox News was pushing a false narrative, that means the entire Fox News is pushing it?
Maybe you should drop your name.

Yes, if a FOX journalists pushes a fake news story and FOX is happy to let him do it then FOX is pushing the story.

Fox is just as bad as CNN. The entire corporate news media are guilty of pushing fake news narratives.

This we have to disagree on...they do push false narratives but they are clearly nowhere near as bad.

500 lies per day compared to 200 does not make one "just as bad".

Oh yeah. Social media. Yeah. Yeah. That must means that the media is pushing a false narrative.

Those that are entirely brainwashed down to a subconscious level are indeed deaf.

Your entire groupthink compartmentalized approach to those not subject to it....reminds me of the sheep i grew up with in church.

Brain shutdown on a level you are incapable of detecting.

What say we broadcast something that will permanently unlock the prisoned minds...regardless of the painful shock of BRUTAL REALIZATION.

Apocalypse Reveal is approaching...because they now have 85% of you in a completely altered state of energy which is starting to make the REAL liberators activate ALL ENGINES.

My groupthink? Contards are the ones who scream "Fake news! Fake news!" 24 hours a day, pushing their false narratives on the left. That's a huge groupthink. Like the OP for example. A retarded "OHMYGOD" twitter is considered newsworthy to the OP for some reason.

Your playing stupid now. You know he meant the video is a fake narrative, the oh my god was pushing that fake narrative. No time for people that pretend to be stupid. Goodbye

OMG only implies shock at her passing over the President's handshake, which did occur.

What you are others, like the OP, are doing is creating your own idea of what Cillizza's intent was.

This is fake news in and of itself. CNN did not say or do as implied.

I'm not even a Trump supporter, and I think it is obvious that this reporter was trying to make a big deal out of the false idea that the Polish First Lady refused to shake his hand...

...which is a false idea, because she did in fact shake his hand after she shook Melania's.

Are you saying he tweeted "OMG" because she shook Melania's hand first and then shook the President's?

Why would that elicit an "OMG" reaction and a retweet of the video from a CNN reporter? That would make no sense.

I don't need to be a Trumpette to see that CNN reporters are trying too hard here with the " gotchya's " in their coverage of The President.

BTW your comment makes it look like you are excusing Fox News for pushing false narratives.

No. We are not being obtuse. We see this as him laughing at something. You guys see this as him pushing a fake narrative. It's quite simple. Really. Apply Occam's razor to this.

Occam's Razor..another regressive leftist brainwarp.

Ever think for yourself?

Occam sure didn't.

It is just another programming tool...that damages humanity.

This idiotic topic is now HOT on ATS... surely you guys and gals can see what's going on here. I can't believe you are all bickering and arguing over this. It's pathetic.

Seriously... stop acting like sheep. Discourse and strife over non-issues among the peasants is exactly how they win.

You are ALL falling for it.

What else should we fall for...the whole dam world is fake..actually everything you just said is an equal waste of time since you are not doing anything to change the world.

Telling people that lost its effect over 10 years ago...WAKEUP.

These arguments and narratives actually are VERY MUCH at the forefront of the entire Universal struggle.

The president IS news, what he says/does IS news, very important news. So I guess that TRUMPS "giving news".

However, I do expect news and follow-ups from my president...coherent & honest news...it IS the presidents job to do that...call it news, call it weekly address, whatever you want. The president does owe us clarity on what he is doing.

Maybe you didn't read the thread (considering your non sequitir response), but the point here is that the video is real, but the story that goes along with the video is fake (and the "fakeness" of the story is not in dispute).

The story that was tweeted along with this video is that the Polish First Lady refused to shake the president's hand. That is false; she did shake his hand. She shook Melania's first, and then shook the president's (evidently, it is some sort of Polish protocol for her to first shake Mrs. Trump's hand first, and then the president's).

Like I said, the video is real -- however, the version of the video that was tweeted was cut off right before she shook President Trump's hand. The tweet contended that she did NOT shake his hand, which was false.

Look, I'm not a Trump supporter; I did not vote for him (nor did I vote for Ms. Clinton). However, I'm a person who supports fairness, and I support fairness in the coverage of this president -- because he is in fact the president, whether I like it or not, or whether CNN likes it or not.

So when a CNN reporter uses his official CNN twitter account to react with "OhmygodOhmygod...." in response to this false story in such a way as to make it sound as if this really happened, then that seems to be unfair coverage. As I mentioned above, news outlets seem as if they are trying waayyyy to hard in finding "gotchya" stories involving this president -- more so than they normally would (or should for any president, no matter who).

This kind of attempt to jump on a story to report it (or retweet it, in this case) before the story has a chance to be corroborated is a symptom of this strange need to get digs in against the president. Yeah -- he's an easy target, and he makes himself an easy target, but that still does not make it right.

It's actually worse, the reporter said he knew the story was fake and knew she shook his hand but retweeted it anyways because he thought it was funny.
