This thread is hilarious, yall whittled them down to whining over the use of 'omg'.
...I might start using this image every time I quote a few specific members on here.
But to kill the arugument that began about 12 pages back. The Polish president did in fact reference CNN, he clearly stated "FIGHT FAKE NEWS". CNN=FAKE NEWS The whole world is learning that meme now. lol
It's amazing how far people will go to defend Trump's attackers when the entire charge against CNN and others that pushed this false narrative is cut and dried.
I've read this entire thread and have been astounded at the lengths some here have gone to deflect from the obvious. You would have to have zero experience interacting with human beings not to understand the intent behind this "journalist's" little stunt. He was counting on the libs to take it at face value and run with it and they did. Now he's busted suddenly nobody's allowed to assume his intent. You'd have to be from another planet not to know full well what it was. Go ahead, play dumb and pretty soon people will treat you like you are dumb. Just don't complain about it when it happens.
Oh, he just retweeted, he didn't intend anyone to see it I suppose, he wasn't pushing it for people to see it at all. Gotcha, makes sense.
He probably thought by retweeting a video he admitted he knew gave a false impression of events was going to lessen the amount of people who saw it. I'm with you.

The CNN reporter did not push any story. He retweeted a video

I said nothing of the sort.

It did not give a false impression of events. The events in the video did actually occur.

Yes the events in the video did occur.. It was an edit to push a fake narrative, which a CNN reporter pushed to 500k followers on Twitter, and the President of Poland called out as fake news.
What false narrative?
CNN is not pushing any narrative on this issue. I can't find any article on the CNN website about this.

The same people deflecting in this thread are the same people that can watch an out of context 5 second video clip of Melania and claim tortured abused trophy wife living in hell. Or another out of context video clip of her swiping away Trump's hand and claim all sorts of nonsense.
But now it's like, "you can't prove intent na na na :p"
..Just saying

Again, you claim to know the intent of the person who edited the video.
Whom edited it and what was their intent?
That is a very relevant question considering the specific claims you are making.

Exactly... these are the same people who are willing to interpret and speculate to their hearts content to attack the President, yet fall back to "can you prove the maker of the video meant to push a fake narrative".

This idiotic topic is now HOT on ATS... surely you guys and gals can see what's going on here. I can't believe you are all bickering and arguing over this. It's pathetic.
Seriously... stop acting like sheep. Discourse and strife over non-issues among the peasants is exactly how they win.

You know! That "false narrative" that the entire world isn't in love with Trump like his cult members are! Clearly Cillizza saw the video, thought it was a snub of some sort of and retweeted it with his overly enthusiastic "OMGOMGOMG" crap.
Did he jump the gun? Yes. Was it stupid? Yes. Should he be embarassed? Of course.
But see, when you're in a cult that is trying to prop up a clown like Trump, you have to find things like this to get excited about. Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, can personally pump out lie after lie, embarassing tweet after embarassing tweet and while they all mindlessly yammer about how "he's talking to the people directly bro!" in those cases, they'll convene a circlejerk to overreact to a retweet from one out of what? Hundreds of CNN employees on Twitter?
Because you know, they're all so concerned with people telling the truth.
Consider the following:
Cillizza tweeted a video he saw on the Internet that he mistook for a snub. In the wake of a major terrorist attack in London, Donald Trump attacked the Mayor of London by deliberately taking a few words from the mayor's statement out of context to push a "false narrative."
Which is the far more serious incident?
Anyone still capable of even a modicum of objective thought should clearly recognize that the latter is orders of magnitude more severe. You can't reason with people who worship at the altar of the Fake News President. Their religion requires enormous levels of cognitive dissonance.
Back to the argument you are really pushing, because all your other falsehoods have been debunked.
Your argument is that we cant tell the intent from a Twitter post of a cut video to show a missed handshake with the words LEGEND ...
If you stopped trying to defend the fake news CNN network and spent some time on the original links in the OP you would know that the original poster of the video is an anti Trump troll. He even commented on his own video and links another post about the new 'cult following' for the Polish First Lady.
Your semantic arguments are weak to say the least and we're left with the reality - that a video edited to show Trump in a bad light with a false narrative was pushed by CNN and then debunked as fake news by both the President of Poland and the full unedited video.

Exactly this. Many Americans are dumber than dirt. I often ask myself how America has managed to become #1 superpower of the world with so many morons living in it.
Dumb hillbillies think Trump is some kind of outsider who will drain the swamp. Stupid hicks, it's all planned and rigged, trump Vs msm is as fake as a WWE fight. Wake the f up idiots

How does this even make any sense? Whoever started this rumor had to know how quickly and easily it would be disproven... and in this day of hyper-alertness to fake news... so why even go there and make yourself look like a fool???
As for Mr. Cillizza -- ohmygodohmygodohmygod!!! -- is he trying to do his bestest teenage girl impression? This guy's supposed to be a serious journalist and he thought that was an appropriate expression of thought???
I'm gobsmacked here. This is just crazy talk. All of it.

Polish President called what they distributed fake news. The triggered ones are the CNN supporters haveing a 17 page meltdown trying to come up with every and any deflection possible, it's hilarious.
