So not editing the video was stopped too soon.
Where did CNN claim she snubbed him?

That's the point! The OP claimed that. We have been asking for a source and he never gave it. The OP is lying again.

The President of Poland confirmed his interpretation that the reporting about the 'snub' was fake news.
The video is indeed a claim that there was a snub and CNN pushed it.

Again show me where CNN pushed it. Just one. Please.

Do you think people who watched the edited video (not watching the whole video for the first time) did not go to look for the whole video? That they did not go and read the comments and news?
Be honest.

Irrelevant.

Even if your question had any relevance, we know that many people did indeed take it as real and spread it round social media as a 'snub'.

Already done several times - retweeting a video edited to make it look as though the Polish First Lady snubbed Trump.
You can't get away from what we know to be true.

No, I know they didn't. I saw the comments on the edited video. I see it being sent around. People WANT to believe certain things, they look for confirmation. That's why CNN has good ratings, the people watching WANT the fake news.

Maybe you need to learn what an 'agent' is. This man is an 'agent' for CNN.

No I am not ok with disinformation. That is why I am here. To stop OP's disinformation. If you can prove Cillizza's intention then I will concede. For now we know nothing. To me he was being childish. That is all.

So how do you get to "he was being childish" without knowing his intention?

You have answered your own question.
You ask me to prove the reporters intention, but in the same post offer you own interpretation without said intention.

Using social media to influence public opinion with disinformation is what the reporter has done. Same as the "russians".

I was. Your question was irrelevant.

When I first saw the video my intinct was to find a whole video to see if it's true or not. And I read the comments and news. People are not as dumb as you claim. Well maybe except those people on the social media.
So how many people HERE believe the narrative that you said Cillizza presented?

Wait a minute. I just realized that Cillizza didn't edit the video. LOL. OP is busted.

A cut slice of a video IS editing.

Yes I know. But Cillizza didn't do the editing himself. Someone else did. He probably saw it for the first time and thought it was funny so he retweeted it.
Simple.

whether he knew both videos existed or not is a good point to make because -

If he didn't know, and only knew of the edited video, clearly he thought it was a snub and tweeted it with the intent of smearing the president in some way.

If he did know, but chose to tweet the edited version, clearly he wanted to insinuate something false, which was a snub, so he could smear the president in some way.

So as you can see, he #ed up and there's really no way out of this one.

I didn't offer my interpretation. Cillizza HIMSELF said he retweeted it because he thought it was funny.
But do keep trying. You might get there eventually.

No. You need to answer the rest of the question: Prove her intent. Did she intentionally pass him over, or was she simply not looking for his handshake at that moment? This is the game you want to play, no?

Her intent does not matter. The fact remains that she went past Trump to shake Melania's hand. It's not that big of a deal.

The word snub has an actual meaning. Intent does matter.

Again, I used the word in quotes due to the post I was responding to.

Also irrelevant.
Multiple news outlets already reported the fake news and many reference CNN pushing it. Multiple people online spread the false narrative. The president of Poland called it fake news. The intent of the video itself is clear and it got the reaction before it was debunked as fake news. CNN pushed the debunked narrative by retweeting the video. Whether the CNN reporter found it funny is also irrelevant. He pushed a video designed to spread a fake narrative of what really happened.

If intent didn't matter, and if it wasn't that big of a deal, then why did Cillizza tweet the edited clip with the incessant OMGs?

He later said he found it funny. Other than that, I don't know.

Even though you've done an admirable job of pretending that you do not understand the subtleties and nuances of human language and communication, I think you know exactly why Cillizza's tweet is so pathetic.

Yes, it's pathetic because it's immature. It's not pushing fake news or any narrative, as the OP states.

Or he didn't intent to smear the president, just thought it was funny. It's all about the intent which we don't know for sure.
People make mistakes all the time without realizing it.
The question is is CNN supporting this "false narrative" as the OP claimed?

To me he was being childish.

If that is not your "interpretation" then what is it?
