We know that other news organisations have reported it as an example of fake news

Her intent does not matter. The fact remains that she went past Trump to shake Melania's hand. It's not that big of a deal.

If intent didn't matter, and if it wasn't that big of a deal, then why did Cillizza tweet the edited clip with the incessant OMGs?
