The Reddit user who initially claimed credit for President Donald Trump's tweet that showed Trump tackling CNN issued an apology Tuesday for the video and other offensive content he posted -- one day after CNN identified the man behind the account and attempted to make contact with him.

CNN managed to find a meme creator in a few hours...

It looks like CNN even got the identity of the meme poster wrong. Looks like the he/she meme post was from Mexico.
The the guy they talked to on the phone lied to CNN?

All right, thanks for the heads up on this.

CNN:
I guess the video does sort of advocate violence against the press by the executive branch. Other than that, it was made in fun.

Judging by the amount of threads created daily in regards to CNN it's pretty clear that CNN has triggered a lot of Trump supporters. Not that they would admit it.
It is funny to watch, but I'd trade you CNN for Trumps Twitter feed. Neither are a good look for America right now.

So laughing at Cnn is being triggered? Man, the definition of "triggered" just changes day by day, doesn't it?
Does this mean I'm triggered, or am I merely observing that you are--or something else entirely? I'm so confused, or is it that you're confusing?
Or is that triggered? Oh, well, someone'll come along and straighten it all out, I'm sure. That way no one will be triggered anymore, and we'll all be happy, again.

Thanks for not explaining what happened.
Everyone alludes to something, which I just woke up and have no idea about, yet no one actually bothers to give the A B and C about.
I think by reading context I picked up some of B and most of C - which makes this sound pretty bad for everyone's sake.
Am I right to assume everyone is entangled in gossip basically?
Is this the story:
1) Person X says racist stuff.
2) Trump uses a random meme originating with Person X's prolific post history.
3) CNN figures out Person X created the meme, calls Trump on it as if Trumps best buds and agrees with Person Xs entire post history.
4) Person X apologized.
5) CNN claims they can still reveal Person X if they choose but for now accepts apology and will not destroy them by merely revealing the truth.
6) Therefore CNN is the Nazi (despite that Person X actually has extremely racist comment history)
7) ATS posters focus full might against CNN and skillfully avoid discussing how Person X is responsible for their own post history
8) No one explains what Trump actually tweeted.
What no one sees here (except me?) is that most of you guys have the perfect skillset and demeanor to be CNN staff - except that you're R instead of D. Flip the roles and you'd fit right in.
I'm afraid yall have become the very monster you've been fighting. You're so caught up in the emotions of the war that you probably can't see it though.
