Why does it always have to be a triangle?

Equilateral triangles are cool.

How many of the ones mentioned fall into that category? Keeping in mind that three points can form only two geometric constructs; a line (rare), or a triangle (prevalent).

And the holy trinity. 3 is I think as far as ancient people could count. When shall we three meet again, through thunder, lightening and the rain... Otherwise known as a hat trick. Strike one, strike two, strike three - You're Out !!! even Pi, we limit to 3.14 - 3 numbers. If you notice too, 3 is exactly 1 half of 8. they invented the number 4, to prevent knowledge.

Okay I guess you got me there esse.

I can has TriForce nao !!

Its the devils world hence 666 is everywhere, especially in triangles.

Equilateral triangle 3x60 degrees.
60 in numerology is 6 and 0 or 6 & null. So every Equilateral triangle is 666.

Why do so many companies have Equilateral triangles as logos ? because they have all sold their souls for money (Mammon).

The world grid is a matrix of triangles.

The reason is simple.

Navigators use triangulation points, to figure out the region in which a given object, individual, or event is or is taking place. Therefore, if you want to describe a geographic area, which comprises sections of already named sea, land or lake for that matter, it is automatic to look at the map upon which the location was triangulated and calculated, look at the nearest landmark or known location, and call it the "X Triangle". There is often a literal triangle drawn on the map, near the place for which it is named!

You can also make a sphere from triangles. Your only consideration is how small you want to make them.

Don't forget the Pythagorean Theorem! Seems we have an eye for triangles. The law of three. It is one of the most basic shapes.

Being a simple shape that is easily understood, that is probably why.

Btw, you forgot The Golden Triangle in SE Asia! Gotta love the opium trade!

And who would be afraid of the Bermuda Parallelogram??
