Christie, family soak up sun on N.J. beach he closed to public

People hoping to visit Island Beach State Park this holiday weekend were not allowed in because of the state government shutdown Gov. Chris Christie ordered amid the state budget standoff in Trenton. But there was one family there: Christie's. They are using the summer beach house provided by the state for a weekend down the Shore.

At that news conference, Christie was asked if he got any sun Sunday. "I didn't," he said. "I didn't get any sun today." When later told of the photo, Brian Murray, the governor's spokesman, said: "Yes, the governor was on the beach briefly today talking to his wife and family before heading into the office."

What a freaking cheat. He probably closed the beach cause animal activists kept trying to roll him back into the sea.

If he wasn't term-limited out anyway, Christie would have no chance of being re-elected. His approval rating is 15%. It's safe to say, he doesn't care anymore that we all (his constituency) think he's a douche bag.

Well, "he" closed it because they ran out of money.
Much like here in Maine, the government is taking too much from the middle class to give to the poor, and line the pockets of the rich.
And it's driven the state to bankrupcy.

Only he and his family gets a private state park out of it, which doesn't give much incentive for him to work hard all year, now does it?

Every time he went before, people would try to put him back into the water.

Well, this puts context into the meme I saw with Christie galloping horseback on a beach!

What a sorry excuse for a human being. The guy is the biggest hypocrite ever. He wanted to get positive press coverage by supporting a hemp/cannabinoid start up, posing for pictures etc. Only to later go and bash the medical marijuana industry, completely flip flopping.

I've long thought that Christie is just a mutant beached whale.

I guess he just wanted to get closer to his true home.
