The question should be, when will the Democratic Party come up with a coherent platform that doesn't eliminate half the country?

Probably around the same time the republicans do.

You only assume the "eliminate" half the country because they don't have specific planks in their platform that are labeled the "black" planks, the "Hispanic" planks, and the "gay" planks. Instead they simply have planks that should benefit everyone and not just "special" someones.

Spot on!

The electoral college mathematically favors rural populations.

The majority of the country that lives in high population centers is being held politically hostage by low population density areas.

The electoral college is almost a direct reflection of.. if you own more land.. your vote counts more.

Quick tutorial in history.

The United States of America is a Constitutional Republic, not a mob ruled Democracy!

Those of you who support mob rules are truly ignorant of history and how it repeats itself! Our founders were a hell of a lot smarter than the cultural Marxists who turned truth into a narcissistic state of fascism!

I don't need a lesson.

I'm not arguing what it is. I know what it is.

What I am saying is that what it is, is wrong. Plain and simple.

There's been what.. 27 amendments to the constitution since it was written?

May a correction to how we elect our president can be amendment 28.

Good luck with that. I really doubt most of the heartland wants to be ruled by the coastal mobs in Cali.

Thats a Republican lie. The majority of the people voted for HRC.
This isn't over, the results will be challenged before this term is over.
She hasn't lost yet.

Were is this little happy place you live in? It is over. She lost. When votes were challenged by Jill the Shill [a proxy for Hill,] there was voter fraud....by the Dems. Oops. The MSM suddenly got really quiet about it.

But see thats where you are wrong.

The right has tried to make it seem like its all just California..

When the truth is, almost every population center in every state is blue and voted blue.

www-personal.umich.edu...

Theres the election map by county.

You see all those blue dots in the sea of red?

Its where people actually live... you know, humans.. where Humans outnumber livestock

By your own map... the majority of the people in the Majority of the counties ... still with me? In the Majority of the states Voted for trump...

No where in his statement did he say trump won the popular vote...

As for a constitutional amendment to change it to a popular vote... good luck with that, feel free to try.. it is your right to do so.

I'm still waiting for a representative for the people to show up from either party. First they need to know what a representatives job is. Maybe it not in the job description.

that was rhetorical. I personally at this point give not a rats ass about the dems, the other half. They have lost their minds don't rate a 50% share into leadership after getting the crap beat out of it in 4 elections in a row. Set down kids. Live and let die time.

Would it be possible for Obama to run again now that he's sat out one election cycle?
The greatest POTUS ever is not going to have a legacy left all thanks to Trumps agenda to destroy everything Obama had put in place to make the nation as great as it is today.
We're going backwards at an alarming rate, nobody can deny.

I think most folks have seen that chart. Cites full of crap libs. It was just last week I got to hear my first lib fire off at "Appalachian" sorts. Even though that was only part of it, its certainly a pejorative word now used widely now on par with "basket of Deplorables"

No.

There is an amendment for that. For some reason, we term limited our presidents ... oh, that was thanks to FDR (another "greatest president ever" so great they enacted term limits right after he died with enough agreement to make it an amendment) ... but not our congressional reps. If the Democrats keep losing enough at the state level, they might get enough states to join a constitutional convention of states to enact even that one in amendments.

And actually, we are undoing a great deal of the damage Obama did.

You want majority vote?

We are the United States of America, not the United People. States elect the President of the United States of America.

30 States votes for Trump. 20 States voted for Clinton.

Trump got a majority of State support.

Majority vote.

Obama's entire agenda was to cut the USA off at the knees and destroy our greatness.

I'll deny all day and all night, friend. The USA is healing from 8 years of neglect and poison.
