It would have been a good idea to see if the bullet went through the book before he held it against his chest.

There at one time was something called " Common Sense "

I think they actually tried it with another book at first and it stopped the round just not the 2nd time....

The moral of the story is, use the same book.

You mean, the one with a hole in it?

The way I see it there was 3 possible outcomes.
1. Accidental castration.
2. Head blown off.
3. Death.

A duplicate copy would be preferable.

What would be more preferable would be not to even attempt it in the first place.

Just aim above or below the hole right?

The hell with that. Even if I had 2 inches of A500 in front of me, I'm not going to stand still and let someone shoot me. I feel sorry for the young lady. She now has to live with the fact that she killed the father of her kids and the man she loved, because they wanted more Youtube hits.

Made me chuckle. But on a serious note imagine having to tell your kids that you shot their dad trying to make 5 dollars off a YouTube video ffs.

I have the same pistol and it blew a bowling pin apart. A book is not going to do a damn thing.

Obviously.

Would you mind posting a video where you attempt to catch the bullet in your teeth?

the people waiting for opportune moments to make fun of tragic, idiotic, but disasters, are just as sad as to what convinced those young (idiot) kids to go through with this.

ffs...

this is like the first guy to try bungee jumping. "How long does the cord need to be? OK, let's try this"
- others watching "um.....I think it needs to be a little shorter, let get out of here quick!"

Hope LL has a video of it

Yeah, so you can watch a wife accidentally kill her husband in front of their infant child and laugh about it.

You heartless #$%!

Ps. No matter how idiotic the child's parents are, no child deserves to see her father killed before her eyes. And you want to see it for a laugh? You sicken me, grow up and grow a heart, moron.

Congratulations to the latest winner of the Darwin Award.

That about sums it up... the sad thing is that somebody somewhere will top even this brazen act of stupid with something even more spectacular. In some ways, I am blown away by the genius of their stupidity in coming up with these stunts.

man talk about stereo typing bigotry, maybe you should have used critical thinking skills before posting or finding this to be humorous.

here is a list of Jewish Athletes, i'm sure there are many more not mentioned.
List of Jews in sports

the french resistance had many heroic people die during WWII, and even some that weren't.

the only time i find insulting someones religion aceptable, is when a radical gets their just rewards. that is insulting them and not their religion.

but i have to admit the last one was kinda funny seeing how a lot of muslims get bent outta shape even talking about pig or anything that pokes fun at islam.

as obama would have said shame on you.

Exactly.
And while I watch it I would have laughed hysterically ... but there is no video.

Oh god I knew some would have to virtue signal hard in this thread...

I remember wearing a new body armour in Crossmaglen that we had been given to trial, that was over 30lb in weight and apparently had stopped a .50cal Barrett round...i was still not relishing getting hit by one lol.

I'm pretty sure i wouldn't have been confident with a book

Yes.

Forgive me for not finding the agonizing pain and suffering of an innocent child forced to watch their father die before their eyes funny.
