There is speculation this was a false flag by Maduro in order to force through his constitutional changes while justifying a further crackdown on the opposition. 1 police helicopter "shooting" at the supreme court building is not a coup, let alone useful for the opposition.

Whatever is coming out of Venezula in the next several hours will be dragged through a quagmire of chaos and confusion. Take everything you read with some salt.

Currently Russia as they gave a loan of a few billion dollars to Maduro because Venezuela is out of money.

Even those who supported Chavez are turning on Maduro. His sole intention is to retain power, regardless of how bad it gets for the citizens.

The only way Maduro leaves office is either 1 - on his own accord or 2 - helped along into retirement by the military.

My guess is door number 2.

Normally I would agree but after seeing what Chavez and Maduro have done to the country its plausible this one is solely self inflicted. Their socialism failed spectacularly and instead of admitting that they continued to seize property / businesses / merchandise to give to those who are struggling on top of constantly increasing their wages to try and counter the rampant inflation.

Those 2 idiots can be used as an example in college level courses for how to destroy an economy and country in 2 easy presidents.

Coup or false flag, this would be a technical terrorist attack, and should be deemed as such.

So terrorists attacked a National Institution. I suppose this is what happens when they sit on an abundance of resource wealth, and yet completely destroy their economy from pis poor bag management and negligence.
