i guess i don't have to be long winded on this one.

here's a Project Veritas clip of a "gotcha" conversation with, apparently, John Bonifield, CNN producer:

John's CNN Profile

here are some amazingly memorable lines from the video above:

- "it's a business, people are like 'the media has an ethical..' *waves hand about* pssssshhh.."

- "but all the nice cutesy little ethics that used to get talked about in journalism school, you're just like 'that's adorable. that's adorable. this is a business."

- "could be bulls*&t. i mean, it's mostly bull#*%t right now. like, we don't have any giant proof. then they say, well there's still an investigation going on. i don't know, if they were finding something we would know about it. the way these leaks happen, they would leak it."

- "and so i think the president has a right to say, like, look you're witch hunting me. you have no smoking gun, you have no real proof."

can anybody out there call BS on this and show that this isn't Bonifield?

because if not, then it looks like this summer might start getting extra warm really soon.

i have work in a few hours, but this is making me intensely curious. what now? how can they hold this narrative together if it turns out to be true that their own producer knows it's nothing more than theater?

All I know is Trump can't be any worse than Obama. It couldn't be possible.

It was nothing more than McCarthyism. Can't believe it took this long to stop flogging the dead horse.

Thanks for posting the thread! I posted the video in another thread, and hoped a thread would be made on it. CNN is officially exposed. There is no disputing this.

I thought CNN lies and is full of crap though?

So if CNN lies...then this headline is a lie, and Trump IS bad for business, right?

That's conservative logic on this, right? I'm trying here guys...I really am...

Having trouble with videos right now.

Is this a new release? Does anyone know the date of the interview when John said these things.

This is unnecessary vindication for most of us and a hard slap of reality to the face for the rest.

hey Grambler, as far as i can tell this is all blowing up right this very moment - interview must be very recent. here's a snippet from one of the most prominent youtube channels that reuploaded this just now (it answered a question i had myself - 'where's the full video?'):

I agree I don't like the edits, and I would like to see the whole video.

But this guy does say all of the things that the OP says, and it is damning.

Perhaps CNN new this was out there, and that is what prompted the resignations.

well that's pretty emotional.

is this how you typically react when the facts of the matter don't push the narrative *you* want to believe?

"edited/spliced to all hell."

ok - can you provide a reasonable doubt as to whether that's not really Bonifield, or that the actual context of the conversation could have been anything other than what was blatantly said?

Of course he can't. The only way what is said in this video is fake is if it's 100% staged. Good luck proving that.

This same outfit is being sued in Kansas right now LOL

Wichita teachers union president sues outlets over undercover video

A Wichita teachers union president who was the focus of a hidden-camera video in which he said he threatened a student with physical violence has filed a federal lawsuit against the outlets that created and published the video.

Steve Wentz, president of United Teachers of Wichita, filed a 66-page lawsuit in the U.S. District Court’s Middle District of Florida on Friday against Project Veritas and Breitbart News, citing an undercover video that he says damaged his and other teachers’ reputations.

“It’s a lie, and it is something that needs to be addressed,” Wentz said Monday.

“When you have people like this that take your words and twist them and edit videos and accuse you of onerous things … this type of vitriol needs to be addressed,” he said. “This is not journalism.”
